Clockwork Collector by Jiri Hysek

About the game
It's a nice little puzzle game! There is some sort of nice looking machine, you know, and the issue is that it lacks power. Fortunately, this kind of machines come with internal power beams. So all you need to do is to redirect a beam to collector. Or more beams.. depending how many chevrons the machine have, you need to power up all chevrons (obviously!).
The game has 8 levels, first three are tutorial. But others are simple too, don't worry!
Play it fullscreen.
Controls
- Just drag a handle of machine part by mouse to rotate or move (handles may be small but if you look at the center of the fidget, you cannot miss it)
- R ... restart level (it's just there, there is no way you'll ever need it; except some sort of unexpected bug)
- Esc ... back to the menu but you'll be able to go back to any level you visited from there
Used Tools
- Godot Engine 4.5
- Inkscape + Gimp
- Audacity, Bfxr
- Bandlab.com

It reminds me of the game Opus Magnum. I know it's completely different, but the puzzles, the sound and the entire vibe is very reminiscent of this cool puzzle game.
Seriously, one of the best games I've seen on Ludum Dare.
A good balance of easy tutorial puzzles to more and more challenging later ones. And of course as usual perfect graphics and audio to set the mood!
The only minor downside I think was that some of the controls felt a bit off. I often wanted to drag the handles in circles, but it doesn't feel like that was the way they were designed.
Or did you have different issues? Second level should show you that you need to collect the same number of beams as those purple parts (I call them chevrons because it looks like chevrons in Star Gate :) But I explicitly wrote this as a text, so I suppose it wasn't it.
Thanks for your help!
