Cool game, I like the buffoon art. It was a little weird that the other emotion was evil/fear coming from a jester, not all the evil guys ran away and they got scared for a short period of time, I'm also not sure if there was any indication whether they are scared or not, apart from them moving to get you when not scared.

I enjoyed scaring the bad guys and making the good guys happy. The mask-swapping trick was really cool. But I didn't immediately realize that the interaction was with the "E" key.

I would be glad if you play our game.

Cool concept. I wasnt sure why the evil ones still followed you after you collected them. They didnt seem to do anything after they reached me. Thanks for the game

The theme is interesting and I love the idea of mask. Don't know why but I failed to pass the tutorial level, the door just didn't open, even though I've received applause from both 2 audiences.

cool concept

I found a little bit difficult to visually differenciate the emotions on the characters

nice work

Funny take on the theme. I was a bit confused, because the people that I scared kept following me, and though it's nice that I can use the same attack on the same people to farm points, I'm not sure if that was intended. But good job!

@nekobones, this is my mistake, I should have left a hint that I should press the "E" key, as I already indicated in the description.

@esh-k Got it! Played again, I do like the idea of the theme! It'll be better if the audiences look more different. Nice job!

I like how the projectiles bounce off walls, I enjoyed trickshotting sad people from down the hall and around the corner. I wanted to shoot the king with the happy mask, he was so rude

Applause is a unique thing to collect! I think the sound effects for the "scare" were a bit much to continuously listen to xD
I also agree that the different emotions could be a little more pronounced visually.

I liked the novelty here--flipping masks and firing the correct emotion at people is an interesting twist on the top-down shooter formula. Although I wish it were easier to tell the two different emotions apart on the faces of people marching towards me, I guess it might well have been intentional, making those reflex emotion-shootings all the more risky.

Nicely done!

I liked where you are going with the idea of collecting applaus and the mask flipping was done nicely. Unfortunately I kept dying in the first level and Im not entirely sure why? Still nicely done and very neat pixel art!

Is there a negative to have the evil mask as a standard like all the time, except when shooting at the sad people? Maybe make the sad people scared of you? Then you have to balance the mask usage a bit more for added gameplay. Otherwise a neat game with nice graphics and a cool concept!

Nice art! It was a bit tricky to distinguish the faces though. Neat idea!

I think the idea is quite unique. Was hoping for some medieval or upbeat music to help me in my quest, but it was still a fun experience. Well done.

It's an interesting game. However, the differences between the faces are not very obvious. But this was an interesting experience.

Neat idea. I would have liked if the environment was a bit more fitting for a classic jester or if you leaned into the ridiculousness of an office jester. Some music would have been cool as well - even just a looping track. The sound effects were unexpectedly terrifying XD.

Cool game! I had fun playing :)
I feel like I always had enough applause to go to the next level, by just shooting the "evil guests". I feel like it would have been a bit more interesting if you could only collect applause from "sad guests", so you'd actually have to explore each level and find all of them. Cause that's what I did, and that was fun!
I like the pixel art and animations, like the two clown faces and the little wobble you do while walking :)
I also really like the idea of "applause" collecting!
The applause sound got a bit annoying and sounded like screams at the end haha I think a bit of random variety with the sound effects would have helped a lot.
Fun game, good job!
