One day you decided that the sword was your new life, since then you have been wandering the world in search of new swords, what awaits you on this path and who or what will you meet?

МечиПревью.png

It's a deck-building game, but instead of cards, you have swords that have durability, and if you lose your weapon, you lose. Build combinations, strengthen your swords, and reach the end.

Hi everyone, this was my second jam and second LD, it was just like the first time, an unforgettable experience, I surpassed myself, I worked 20 hours a day and I'm incredibly glad I took part, peace to all!

The heroic, slightly spooky music fit the art and gameplay of gaining power in a graveyard. The combat feels balanced, it seems like a nice launching point for making a game with more randomness or custom swords.

Absolutely amazing. The art & music was very well done, and I loved the retro RPG feel. Would love to see this be expanded into a larger game!

Very interesting game. I really like the synergy effects between different swords (cards). However, with only 3 energy points, I couldn't achieve the combination of "doubling effect" + "final strike double effect" that I had in mind (which would result in a 4x effect). While playing, I kept trying to come up with a similar strategy, but ultimately didn't succeed.
Well done!

I love the idea of the game, the synergies between swords are very nice and give the option for tactical decision making, which I personally love. However, I'd would like to have a little more visual feedback for enemy hits.

fun and fast game to play, like the variety of swords and what they do, it has a nice game balance. art was great as a fan of putting eyes on things that shouldn't have eyes, i was a big fan of the moon

good improvements would be maybe a little variation on enemy types or what they do, shielded enemies take less damage of multi-weapon enemies can do more attacks, etc Music got a little too loud for me, I had to turn it down, and it would have been fun to fight in different areas, basically more game please! :)

all in all good Zoro simulator had a blast

Herald of Fury + Last Swing is the best combo! Really fun, love the art style and sound design. The tutorial is really satisfying, which highlights just how much attention has been put into every aspect!

I am the bone of my sword

Steel is my body, Fire is my blood

I have created over a thousand blades

Unknown to death, nor known to life

Have withstood pain to create many weapons

Yet those hands will never hold anything

So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works!

This is really cool! I really liked the variety of swords and the nature of their advantage, and the game was quite difficult too! I love durability blade + the one that doubles damage + something cool, and that moon creeps me the hell out. Good job!

The idea is great, but I couldn’t beat the boss — I either run out of swords or HP :( He’s a bit too tough for me.

Love the idea, it took a few tries to not end up getting wrecked in the last round, I'd love to see a more polished version with sword animations and upgraded visuals, great entry!

Superb execution! The graphics fit such a nice theme and the shadows and animation on the enemies and environment are very impressive for the time you had. I like how all the swords work and the way they combo with each other. Really fun game with a well polished atmosphere and gameloop

Cool game. I liked the idea of a sword-wielding deckbuilder, it was quite fun

One of the most original interpretations of the theme, in my opinion. The music at the beginning is really loud and there’s no sound adjustment — kind of hurt my ears a bit. The gameplay is great, the idea is interesting, I liked it.

I like the idea to use swords in place of cards. The art was great and I appreciated the strategic choices that picking swords presented. Fun game.

You already had me at "collect swords" to be honest, but once i played, overall amazing, art has a lot of intent in it, i can see the vision! Gameplay in the end has a lot of depth and strategy, would love to see a longer-form version of it, great job!

Looks cool, the music is bussin', the strategy element is fun. However, it seems like the balancing could be a bit better... However, it is the hardest thing to do in a jam game, in my opinion. And it is better to make the games easier for the jam. So good job!
Now I'm off to collect the maximum amount of swords, thank you.

I love it, and we want more!

It's incredible that you did this solo. A little feedback when you get hit would have been nice; otherwise, it doesn't really feel like you've finished your turn.

Good job!

Really neat! Loved how all the swords interacted and the graphics style was super fitting for the mood of the game. My only wish is that there was a bit more energy to stack more sword effects

Cool! I like the visuals (the environments and UI), the gameplay, and the sound design. The concept is also good.

There was a bit of a lack of feedback from enemy attacks. It's also cool how when you deal damage, part of the enemy's health bar glows white and only then disappears. Little details like these significantly enhance the tactile experience.

I liked that the game isn't difficult, but maybe other players would like more of a challenge.

It would be fun if the eye followed the cursor.

That's a good result for three days!

Had fun playing! I'm big fan of deck building games, like the mood of the game and an idea that swords replace cards, good for immersion. Was able to bit the final boss with literally last use of a (rusty) sword that gave me the last 3 dmg needed.

The idea is a very nice take on the theme. I also think you executed it well, I really like turn-based games like this. I would have liked if you could see the weapon details while you're choosing the loot after you defeat each enemy because right now it's covered by the loot window. I also wasn't able to really get good synergies or at least didn't find any while playing. I guess I'm very prone to RNG. That's about it, menu and settings would be nice but I get time was limited. Good job! Very creative entry
