When I first started the game I almost immediately ended it again, because I flew directly into the exit zone again by accident. By having a designated exit zone somewhere else on the map that could've been easily avoided.

While the helicopter itself controls just fine, it is incredibly hard to hit anything in this. I'm very confused as to why I have to shoot by clicking, yet can't aim to where my cursor is pointing.

The graphics themselves are very minimalistic, and while that can work just fine, in this it looks extremely bleak. I understand that that is probably done intentionally, but it still doesn't rectify the fact that from a game quality point of view, it is a detriment. Having things stand out more by adding colour, as well as adding a few effects here and there, would spice things up a lot and help make the game more engaging.

The additional camera view at the top right is probably supposed to be a major point of the game (simulating what you see on the news), but it is simply too small to be noticed while playing the game. It would've been much better if you could switch between 3rd-person view and this mounted camera view by hitting a button.

Overall it plays alright. If you make the shooting easier to control, this could turn out to actually be fun.

Exit positioning is not optimal. It is a quick and dirty solution to make sure the player can find it without adding instructions.

Fire by mouse button was a default that I left in. Should probably remove that unless i have mouse aim.

The cannon auto-aiming, like other things, is unfortunately not working as intended.

The graphics deserve more work, I agree. I only focused an getting a real 3d model of the helicopter.

I like your idea about a button for first-person camera.

Thanks for your comments!

Cool twist on the theme, a bit hard to hit people tho.
Still a good job. Keep it up!

Cool game, but honestly shooting is quite tricky and I enjoyed flying around way more, because of the cool helicopter controls :D

This is a really interesting take on the theme and it's very thought-provoking. However, it's really, really hard to aim at the people you're trying to hit. Even if the missiles seem to land on them, nothing happens 90% of the time.

Very like Counter Strike. Oh, no - Desert Strike.

Could do with some more instructions and the camera could be bigger. But overall a very nice game

Really amazing engine you have here. The flying feels fantastic, and the directional camera in the top is a really nice touch.

Accidentally running into the exit at the beginning, however, almost made me leave early because I didn't know what was going on.

Great work! Lots of fun. It's certainly not perfect, graphics, audio and controls especially really need a tuneup, but I'm gald to hear your continuing development. This game with better controls and maybe a story would be worth spending money on. Good job.

I like the camera in the top right, a bit too small though

Remarkably similar to Desert/Jungle strike. Had to watch a youtube video to see how its shooting worked. You'v had some great comments, I'll leave it at that.

nice game! Reminds me of the old SNES helicopter games. I would not mind the very tiny hitboxes, if the target window would be a lot bigger :-)

Would have love a story or a reason why I am shooting stuff and the shooting was a bit hard to aim. Love the overall control of the helicopter.

Difficult to hit things. Accidentally exited the level 5 seconds into the game. I guess leaving peacefully can be considered a success though.. Hmm.

Generally the controls were nice, but really hard to aim/hit anything, especially the little people.

Accidentally exited the level a few times while I was finding the controls. Otherwise highly polished.

Cool game, though it is hard to hit people with the gun. Maybe you aren't supposed to? I'm not sure...

Wow, this is a pretty interesting experience with a thoughtful political message embedded in the mechanics. I like it a lot!

The helicopter was occasionally a little unpredictable to maneuver, and I wish I could gain altitude to fly over the larger buildings.

Also, I wonder about how the grade was calculated. I decided to try to make this a recon mission to observe every insurgent, and I just didn't get a grade. Might be more interesting if I got some kind of feedback (negative or positive) for not killing anyone but observing a lot of people.

I liked how you can handle the chopper. It was feeling pleasant and the camera view on the side ot the screen is a clever addition.
I really liked it, maybe you could improve and would have been nice to see a bit more of it. Good job on your entry :)
