This is a game about delivering kids to school, I really wanted the theme to be "the wrong tool for the job", and my concept would focus on a guy who uses a Nuclear powered hammer to do everything around the house, when the final theme was announced as "Delivery" I kinda shoe-horned my concept in :)

Keys are WSAD or cursor to move, space or shift to hammer, and enter to check the mission status/switch to the next level. Joypad code is in there but no events fire for it so it doesn't work, i'll push a patch if i can find the fix. It will remember which level you've made it to thanks to localstorage, and that's why it wont upload here.

you can reset your progress by deleting the localstorage record

Once again i've failed to add any sounds...sorry there's only 4 levels, I had hoped to add more challenging puzzles: see-saws, triggered turntables, hazzards etc but time ran out.

Created in Typescript using BabylonJS, Blender, Krita, VS Code and a LOT of sugary drinks

patch v1.1 i've found the bug in babylonjs that was preventing gamepads from working, so you can now use a gamepad! left stick to move, B/A/Circle/Cross to hammer! nothing else is changed.

Very fun game. Too bad this time I couldn't find time to create game

Starting at level 3, the player only moves down automatically. You could make the blow chargeable to throw with more force. Nice game.

Hitting kids with a hammer, nice. The visual effect was very nice I wish it had a sound as well. Overall its okay.

Really weird game, in a good way :) I think I've finished all 3 or 4 levels and then it starts over from the first one?

The help text in the beginning is a bit hard to read since it is white on a bright background, adding a black outline would help. It also disappeared faster than I finished reading it, maybe instead there should be an [OK] button that hides in? This way it wouldn't depend on the player's reading speed at all.

The main hammer bashing mechanic is fun but a bit tedious. I didn't fully understand how it affects the students: it definitely pushes them physically, but it also seems to alter their behavior so that they move towards the school instead of just walking around?

The hammer explosion effect is cool but a bit too long to my taste - the smoke prevents the player from seeing the students, which was a bit frustrating at times.

Sometimes the "the goal is reached" text appeared before I've moved all the students, like maybe 2 or 3 were still not in school. Not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior, but in any case it would be nice to see the goal progress indicated somewhere (maybe just a text "Goal: 17/30").

Thanks @lisyarus for your feedback!
the hammer just applies an impulse to all objects within a radius, the kids carry on wondering in the direction they're blasted or deflected, but they are kind of funnelled to the exit by the level design, the first level is ridiculously easy so it'll win automatically if you leave it... if only i had more time!

This was a lot of fun. I know you mentioned it but I wish there was a sound on the impact. I like the effect you implemented for the hammer and its knock-back!

I could see this sort of game having a solid series of challenges added to it via A.I. and obstacles.

You did a good job "hammering" your concept into the theme as well.

@kierogi I see what you did there! thanks!
hadn't considered AI generated levels, that's a great idea

I love the wonky physics everything has, great idea for a game! Now if only it was this easy in real life... Great submission!

It's quite funny to smash the hammer and "motivate" the wobbly kids to go to school.

Good job!

Had a nice bit of fun with this and the aesthetic is quite original. I just wish there were a visible counter of the amount of students left to go. I imagine this must be a very satisfying game to play if you're a parent or a teacher...I'm neither and I enjoyed hammering those Russian dolls!

Haha, crazy idea. Maybe the movement of the character could be a little bit improved and additionally limit the number of available hammer smashes to have a certain level of difficulty.

Hilarious and fun. 3rd level was a pain but in a good way. One thing I would like is a score, maybe based on a timer, with a bonus for how many kids you score? Nice game.

Fun take on the theme! Really liked the graphics on the characters.

Glad you were able to shoehorn your original idea into the Delivery theme. Probably be one the of the sillier game ideas for this jam! Good job! :D

Pretty wild but fun idea! I wish it had more levels and some sound effects to go with the hammer

Good work

I really enjoyed the physics of the weebles and the chaotic nature of it all. Could be a good game for Twitch/YouTube/live streaming integration!

Gameplay is a little fiddly for my taste but it's still fun because of the physics and visuals. I know you ran out of time but I can't help thinking about how much funnier it would be if it had sound.

Kind of an interesting art style with the russian doll like characters, feel like there is some sort of potential for a kind of more chaotic physics based lemmings like game there where you have to herd a certain number to the exit without losing too many. Also maybe as a sort of multiplayer party game might work too. As it stands, there isn't really any challenge, no time limit or anything, so the fun is somewhat limited to me. Also the main character feels too slow to move to me and I would like more options of how my hammer is going to effect them, like a charge level perhaps as someone else said, or more aiming the force in a specific way or something. Also some sound would be nice of course. So sort of interesting, perhaps with some potential, but for me not so much fun right now. Appreciate the effort.

It's really funny game! But influence of the hammer strike is not clear in the first time. I think, It would be great to change the hammer to the air fan for example. This game mechanics I saw in Rubber Bandits. I got to say, very nice work.

Funny game. I did lose a fair number of a children from them flying over the walls, but seems like I had enough anyway :)

Quite a funny little game, love how they all go flying around sometimes, or sometimes they just go to school without me doing anything! (And then sometimes they're super stubborn and refuse to move haha, just like kids.) Quirky little fun game, decent graphics, great little time waster! Good stuff ^-^

It was unexpectedly funny to smash kids with the nuclear powered hammer.
Really nice entry considering the technologies you used!

Fun and funny physics-based game. I thought the controls were simple and well-implemented. The gameplay itself is a little easy but it's fun to make all the kids wobble around nonetheless. I think with some audio, this would be an especially fun game for kids to play.
