Hey! Got a delivery order for someone who lives nearby. What do you mean 5 km is not "nearby"?

Tap constantly [Up] to pedal like a real bike, steer with [Left] and [Right] and brake with [Space bar]! Try to avoid the sand or your bike will break!

Oh, and there's big heavy tortoises in the road too, watch out for them!![Screenshot 2023-05-01 152615.png]

Nice work on the game! One minor issue though is the window size is very small but other than that nice work.

@synthol Thanks for playing! Also thanks for letting me know about the screen size, I've just fixed it!

The controls felt responsive and tight--really captured the drifty turns of biking very well!

This felt like it would belong in an arcade cabinet in a modern barcade. It has that quality where you almost hate that you feel compelled to try to beat your own high score. Nicely done!

Not sure if it's just me, but the gameplay is very unintuitive and sometimes slow. Despite that, i liked the visuals and audio.

It was fun getting into a groove with the acceleration to try to be as fast as possible! I didn't read the description until afterwards, and think the experience was heightened from it. Caught me way off guard and laughed out loud.

Nicely done :)

From the initial screen the art looks lovely :)

However when playing the web embed on ith.io the bike seems to not move forward... The tire pivots when pressing [Left Arrow] / [Right Arrow] but no movement
I'd love to give it another try if you could look into the web export version.

@LucaVazz you have to constantly tap the [Up] key to move, it's like pedaling a real bike. Sorry if I didn't made it clear on the instructions, i will fix it as soon as i can!

Oh I see, thanks for the hint, now I figured it out ^^
Maybe rather write it like "Constantly tap the [Up] arrow..." or similar :)

Apart from that bump in the road it's a neat game, the controls feel very appropriate to riding a bike indeed.

Nice game! It was frustrating but fair. The way the bike jerks away from a full stop, though, was maybe a little too punishing if you get yourself stuck in a bad spot. Overall, well done!

Tight little game. I liked my desert ride. The turning is pretty swingy so I was barely tapping turn and coasting a lot. The tortoises could have used a better asset, haha. They looked like a small sprite enlarged a lot. Why were they so big!?

I loved all the little quality HUD elements. Clean, clear progress was appreciated. The bar at the bottom was effective.

![bandicam 2023-05-17 22-06-39-323.jpg](///raw/e71/75/z/5bd52.jpg) What a relaxing game, I really enjoyed it! I like the controls, especially that you have to tap up constantly to mimic the feeling of riding a bike. The difficulty feels just right. I tried a few times to get to the end. The mood I get is both lonely and relaxing, right on for capturing the feeling of touring alone on a bike. And I really like the bike sounds. Good job!

A really cool game! The controls were a bit hard to get to used to but once you gain momentum and understand them it's really fun keeping the bike going and navigating it.
Cool entry!
