Westwick Street by niz

Story
Unfortunately, you didn't pay attention to the itinerary today and didn't notice this street was in it. It's a lovely street by day, but kinda empty as night approaches...
Changelog
May 5: Fixed issue with players not being able to select Yes/No when Hitchhiker lady talked to them. Confined mouse to screen to avoid problems for players with multiple monitors.
How to play
WASD / Arrows - Move
F / Left mouse button - Drop package
Ctrl / Right mouse button - Run
Enter - Choose dialog
Esc / Start - Pause
Move near house doors and drop packages, once you're close to the right house, dropping action is enabled.
:warning: IMPORTANT :warning:
In some cases it seems Unity gives priority to game pads and the keyboard movement does not work, unplugging and reopening the game seems to fix it!

@beebster-games glad you liked it! Some people thought the game forced you to die, maybe I should have made it clearer that you can escape after the last package
Here is a link to the VOD that starts at your section.

@m0zrat Did you check the game pad warning? For some reason Unity was messing with people who used game pad. Unplugging and restarting the game seemed to do the trick!
Anyways, the mood of this was fantastic. There were some parts, especially during my first attempts where it was genuinely really creepy. The music and sound effects seemed to fit extremely well and really sold the experience for me. I think if you fixed the gameplay issues I had, this could be quite a cool game jam game!
Could use more polish.
Camera was jittery, at least with the mouse controls.
The package address changed from 14 to 9 at one point?
I didn't like the insta-kill when I delivered the package to the haunted house.
The shadows didn't reach more than 20 feet down the street.
The way the first statue walked felt a bit jagged.
> Porting (especially to Web or Windows) can happen after the initial 48 hours. The longer you wait though, the less time participants will have to play your game.

The Hitchhiker really got me the first time she approached me. Really fun little horror experience, very well done!

The fact that the mouse cursor is not caged to the screen in the web version is a bit of a bummer (I see you fixed it in the notes, but I'm guessing you left the web version as originally submitted). Had to disconnect my second display to move around normally. Not a huge bother, though.
The sneaky hints on the main menu screen are brilliant :smiley_cat:.
Very good entry!
I think it may not be possible to avoid a bit of potential tiny jump scare when you introduce something sudden and incongruent with the environment (in this case, a roar on a street that is peaceful and quiet otherwise).
