Package Deal by Ruud Cremers
Package Deal. Our main man has found himself a nice Mimic Backpack while exploring your favorite local dungeon. Sadly, this one belongs to the Demon King, and you have been commanded to deliver the Mimic back to him. Straight to the bottom of his domain, the Underworld.
Gameplay: Navigate Dudley and the Mimic through the underground mazes using the powers of the Demon King to shift and rotate the rooms around. Keep the Mimic's hunger meter up by defeating weaker enemies and collecting Pizza. You have no control over Dudley's movement direction. If there are multiple paths he can take, it will be one at random. Manipulate the maze in such a way to force them to the elevator room marked by arrows.
This game only uses Mouse control. Thank you for playing!
Made in 72 hours from scratch. All assets are original, except for the font used. Special shoutout to Renee de Vos and Luuk Broersma for producing loops and soundeffects.

Awesome Pixel art and music.
Some small nitpicks:
- I wish I could rotate the player without having to rotate the whole tile. It happened quite often, that a sword or enemy was just behind me (paths were connected), but I was looking in the wrong direction.
- In my opinion just keep the zoomed out version and keep the buttons advance, shift, rotate on the same screen. No need to switch back and forth all the time. :)
The first floor was already kinda hard for me (not a puzzle guy at all). So I died three times there, mimic ate me (do not judge him at all). I wish the game had to be easier in the beginning.
I need to check your other entries.
I think being able to more seamlessly change the layout of the maze via the demon king would make it better. Felt like there was quite a few options to go through and get what you wanted. Would be better if you could just do it while playing, almostl ike solving a rubik's cube.
Great experience - I had a lot of fun solving the mazes and getting the resources needed to continue!
The only nitpick I have is that getting from moving to changing the maze feels a bit clunky at times, but this is a very minor issue
The gameplay was simple to understand, but the game was not so easy, the perfect balance for a Ludum Dare I think! The thing that I took a while to figure, was that the character is facing the direction where he will move next turn. I thought the random direction was determined when you click the advance button.
An option to set the WebGL build in full screen would have be a plus. I have run the Windows build and done an alt+enter to manually set the full screen.
Keep up the good work!
