Amazon Delivery Simulator by Ryne

[raw]
made by Ryne for Ludum Dare 53 (COMPO)

Simple game for the theme "Delivery".

Live out your dream as a warehouse shipping and fulfillment officer! The goal is to "deliver" as many packages as possible within the time limit, maximizing score by placing the packages on the appropriate delivery trucks based on size.

Score is calculated by how quickly you can place a package on a delivery truck. The longer you leave a package on the conveyor belt, the lower it's score becomes, even falling into negatives. Bonuses are applied at the end based on various criteria.

This is a project where everything was created in less than 48 hours by myself. Uses the Unity game engine. Paint, GIMP.

It's challenging! Is there an end condition? I played for quite a while and couldn't tell how to win or lose.

Hey, couldn't get the web version to work. It was just stuck on the intro description of the game and I couldn't work out how to proceed. Is this a bug or am I meant to press/click something?

Really liked it!

Very addicting once you get in the groove of loading packages, discarding trucks and trying to plan ahead.
While the lack of audio was noticeable, and I do think it would have helped to have some sound effects, it wasn't as glaring as I thought it would be, as I ended up focusing much more on the action and disregarding anything else.

Yeah it's really addictive xD I feel bad for the people who just get their package 10 years later because they weren't worth that much. Almost like real life :D Sometimes the x from the truck doesn't work.

It took me a few minutes to get used to the size of the trucks afterwards, it's quite pleasant.

Cool game ! The gameplay is easy to pick but the flow makes it really addictive. Good job

Really fun, really makes you prioritise between perfect fit, and not losing points on negative boxes.
Great work!
