The boat was a bit slippery, but I liked the idea of a supplementary offer and a request. The ring animation was also very successful.I also like the way you speed up the boat. It gave more of a feeling of steering a boat.

Love the chill music. I wish the game ran while unfocussed so I could leave it on a bit. As others have said the boat is a bit slow and hard to control but the core idea is solid!

The boat felt a bit slow, but it fits the calm setting. It sometimes was hard to see where I was going since the camera does not rotate.

I recommend setting the sprite interpolation to "nearest", currently you probably have it on "bilinear". This makes the pixel art sharp instead of looking blurry.

The game took like 15 seconds to load into, both here and on your website, I see that in your video it happens without any delay - no idea why this is happening, might be a problem on my end. I also had no music.

Relaxing entry, appreciate the look of the water. Pressing start made my PC sound like a motorboat and it took a while to load up the scene, might be because of the islands? They look heavy :) Fun take on the theme, felt nice. Fitting music as well, great job

@floke Thank you for playing and the tipps, I'll look into the sprite issue in a possible post compo version. Not sure why the loading takes this long, was fine on monday, but today I also noticed it loading significantly slower. The default volume is 0 in the game you can change it in the settings menu, another thing to eventually fix! :)

Calming game, though sometimes I do get impatient getting to the islands. Water is nice to look at too, really neat game you made in 2 days

Nice game. Gameplay was nice and chilled, music complemented the mood. I would have preferred a hard border to the sea rather than getting game over.

I liked the idea of the game and the simple graphics. A bit hard to control the boat, but other than that, it's a nice concept.
Nicely done.

The idea is simple but interesting. I got some bugs like trying to buy a thing but something else pop up hahah. Was unsure if drop items are selling them or throwing them away.
