Maybe it needs to undergo more medical trials.\n\nI liked how sometimes the monsters were stacked on top of one another with their silly animations. Since there's some knockback every time Dr. Stabby runs into a monster, I thought at first he was kicking them away and didn't realize that he was also losing health when that happened. Hey, but maybe kicking is a legitimate strategy...\n\nI agree with Francis about having a goal. Increasing difficulty over time could be another way to increase engagement as well. We were running out of time to even get the basic mechanics working.  It has been more than a year since I've done a jam.  Glad to be back into it. I updated the game Tuesday night so that the game play was a little more interesting, but it still needs a goal, but at least the new version doesn't have a degenerate strategy.
