Oh man, I can BEARly contain my enthusiasm for this game! It's FANTASTIC! The art and humor is next level, and I really like the core mechanic. The basic elements of the news effects on the character's happiness and stamp cost were easy to understand right off the hop, and then I quickly picked up the more advanced deck (or letter bag?) building. You can't just fill your bag with good news, or you'll not have enough turns and stamps to deliver enough bad news. My only complaint is that the game isn't long enough! Which really isn't a fair criticism as this game is a good length for a jam game. But I wanted to keep playing, keep building up my deck, and delivering more bad news!!! Amazing work!!!

This is frickin' hilarious and showed so much spirit and care. I think this'll do really well! Only thing I'd add is just a number preview on the effect of each card (or at least warn when one will cause game over.)

Aw cute game. Voice acting was top tier and art was amazing. I'm not sure I put in as much thought as I probably need to for a deck builder game but I still won lol

Totally liked it, played it until I got to the end. Especially the visuals are awesome and also the music is very fitting, nice atmosphere. Very fun game. :smiley:

Alright, that was pretty funny! Very expressive art style and great that you got actual voice acting. The gameplay was solid: just the right balance of thought required and ease of decision making and it didn't overstay it's welcome. Having unique characters for each round was a nice touch in that regard as well. One thing that probably could use a bit more work is making sure the things that can be interacted with stand out as interactable more (though the tooltips were excellent!) It just took me a while to realize you had to click the draw image in the top left since it didn't register in my brain as a button at first. Perhaps making it bigger, giving it an animation, or giving it a more contrasting outline could make it stand out more? And actually on the subject of standing out more, the tiny text on the letters is pretty hard to read which is a shame cuz it's pretty funny too. That could probably just use a simpler/cleaner font at that text size to improve legibility. Other than that, everything else seemed really well done. Good reactions to the good/bad news from the characters, an easy to read meter to convey the core mechanic, nice polish on the hover animations for the cards... a very solid entry overall!

5/5 game Great character design with a unique artist flare, good mood and music, well made card game. The only nit pick is when I want to check my envelopes stats I have to drag the cards out and on some occasions I misclick because of this.

Creative take on the theme, fits well. Nice visuals and audio, overall very enjoyable game.

VOICE ACTING??? THIS GAME HAS VOICE ACTING??? This is so awesome, but of course I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't clicked on the cover art and I clicked because the art style is really gorgeous!!!

Loved this!! Everything worked smoothly. The extra cards before the monkey were just too good (I failed at the monkey btw because i didnt pay attention lol!). The voice acting was awesome! My favorite detail was the mood bar: that sad face was just so perfect haha. Really good job, congrats!!

Great story and the implementation. Who thought, delivering bad news could be that engaging... Voice acting fits the mood!
