About

You are a human trafficker that very casually drives around town while picking up and delivering humans. Although it doesn't take long for the police to notice this and they slowly send more and more officers to arrest/kill you!

The game may run on Mac and Linux but it has not been tested! Play on Windows if you can!

There was going to be a HTML5 version of the game but i couldn't get it working.

This is my first gamejam and there was a lot of things that i did wrong but it came out much better than i expected. I hope you enjoy it!

I liked this! I appreciate that you only take damage from cops and not the walls. I think the trick to this game is to never turn around. If you miss, just do a lap around the block.
I don't know if it's intentional or not, but if you t-bone a cop you don't take any damage. You can just push the cop cars around. Thanks for making this!

@brandon-campbell Yes the t_boning is intentional. Originally police cars were going to have spikes in front of them and they would damage the player but i forgot to add the sprites to the game...

I really like the concept of this game. Has a retro feel, like one of the original gta games. I really like the warping to make look like an old crt, though for me the view was zoomed in to much. I found the controls sort of difficult to get immediately, when backing up the directions stayed the same and that threw me to start with. But, I think once you get used to them it would be good.

Oh my gosh - this game feels AMAZING! The controls are so satisfying - throwing the wheel to 3-point turn, fishtailing when zipping around a corner, playing chicken with the cops - so slippery and fun.

Very glad you gave us the 1st deliver to explore the controls, so much fun just to toy with and get the hang of.
There is also an interesting element of sussing out more info from the arrow - watching quickly it changes, to get a grasp of how close you are, or if you might be 1 more block off.

I only wish it were harder - the cops mostly left me alone, but I liked the few moments the put up chase.

I can tell you had a lot of fun with the concept, the writing, and the post-processing too. Very well done!

@ugly-robot Thank you so much for the kind words! I was actually surprised when you said you wished the game was harder. I was worried that the game was too hard but i guess i was wrong! The cops chase the player constantly but
they rarely show up on the screen which makes the player guess when and where they will come from!

The gameplay idea is simple but it work. The truck physics is good too. The close camera make controlling the car very hard, though. Just dezooming x2 or x3 would have been the game much more pleasant.

Great job, how the heck did you add your youtube link in the title screen?

@radgegames I just used Application.OpenURL() in unity.

Really liked physics, it is quite fun to move with high speed) Camera looks nice too (with fish-eye effect?). It would be nice if you add dynamic background music.

I really like this idea! The game was fun and exciting, especially with the physics.

for this kind of game, I think you need music, because the dynamics are really fast and fun, but I think there should be more room for movement.

Fanastic controls. really enjoyed this one.
I wish it had music, but of course given the jam time constraints it makes sense there wasn't any.
Really fun game!

Cool game. I have seen a lot of these type of games on Roblox but i liked how close your camera view was. You have to have quick reactions to avoid the cops. Visually looks nice, controls where easy. Fun game.

Fun little game! I would have liked the camera to be a bit more zoomed out so I could better see where I was going and anticipate the police car's arrival a bit more.

EDIT: Also, something that bugged me about the controls: when you reverse and turn left or right, the truck turns the opposite way that it should based on how a real vehicle would behave.

@piano-forte I'm very glad you enjoyed the game! The camera is zoomed in so that the player doesn't know where the police will come from! Otherwise (in my opinion) escaping from the police is too easy, and the healing mechanic would be too broken if the player never got hit. The controls were rushed and i didn't have enough time to make sure they were realistic.

I found this slightly more fun than I thought it would be!

the controls feels responsive, driving around feels fun however I feel like the camera could be zoomed out a bit more because I found it difficult to avoid the police.

Lots of fun! I really enjoyed playing. If it had a timer to keep me on my toes I would be thrilled. Great job!

I admire the resourcefulness of the developer in creating visually appealing graphics within their limitations. The game's visuals may be humble, but they are charming
