$tupicl M@nst3r #004 by Chaosmore

[raw]
made by Chaosmore for LD33 (JAM)
This is a followup game made in 48 hours for my Stupid Monster series, I have been making games about monsters so when the theme coincidentally matched the monster theme, I might as well make one for the series.

Eerie platformer. Probably not for kid. Not for the faint of heart either.

Read the help file for instructions.

For shader error:
You probably have to update your direct X End User runtime, or else shaders will not compile correctly.

SPOOKY.

While a simple idea, the art, music and way the game was handled creates a very interesting and focused product.

I will also add an option for player to switch off shader via ini in post fix, though it's highly recommended to have shader turned on.

Wow! Pretty psycho cthulhu dark thing :D I really like style of this hame. Also, that idea with eating body parts was pretty cool! Really solid entry!

This is so damn creepy, ti reminds me of yume nikki for some reason. I guess it is because of the weird imagery. Anyway, this game was quite cool, and the gameplay basic but fun. I like it!

"Your adversary, Chaosmore the Omniscience" - not an author avatar at all. *whistling*

The yay:
- original handicapping mechanics
- various enemies
- mood

The nay:
- when I hit the questionmark block from below, no mushrooms nor coins appear! >:(

Somewhat interesting quirky entry.

Weird game, with an interesting concept. Why ask for money on a game jam entry?

Gee, that was weird. Spooky as f... I loved that the enemies differ on restarts. Didn't manage to end the game though. But I'll certainly return to it later.

Creepy as hell, I had no clue what was going on or what anything was, the flickering effect was a nice touch and the discordant sound added to the mood. well done
