Delivery by Adam Jewell

[raw]
made by Adam Jewell for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

A quick game after a long break with unity. Sorry for the simple graphics!

It's basically the hoop-and-wire game but with a twist that it's on a rotating disk. You guide your dot along the path to 'deliver' it to the centre. If you get it there without touching the sides, you win!

Only one level at the moment.

I like the concept of deliver the ball to the end. Cool work!

Hey, you can cheat and just click on the middle to insta win :sunglasses: Very nice concept, the player controls the speed of the ball, could be a speed challenge to get in the middle really fast

Simple concept, but can be effective! I'm sure there could have been a few ways to make it more engaging with more content, I'd love a couple more levels!

Very simple game but is still fun to try to get it. With a high sensitivity mouse is actually kinda tricky. I feel like perhaps having a couple fo extra levels would have added to the experience. But you mentioned it was your first game in Unity after a while so props to completing the game!

Simple, yet satisfying. Well done.

I'd never heard of hoop-and-wire as a term for a game before, learn something new everyday! Luckily I play on low DPI mouse so I didn't run into any sensitivity issues. Good stuff!

Simple but still challenging mechanic, loved the rotation. You could slap all sorts of additional content on this one, levels, story... lots of potential here. It was inspiring to see this hoop-and-wire concept, I almost think it's the first time I see it in a game. Great idea!

An interesting game, despite the fact that it is minimalistic. Too bad it's only one level.
Simple graphics do not interfere at all, rather it looks organic with hyper-casual gameplay.
P.S. You can click anywhere on the spiral at the beginning of the game and our point will be there. So you can win without playing))

Very simple game. It is possible to win by pressing the middle at the start, so you probably have a bug somewhere there. You could have expanded it by adding a timer, it would be nice to try to solve solve it as fast, as you can. I also dislike that you have to hold LMB the whole time, simply pressing once to start the game would be much more comfortable.

@lisek-gagatek You don't have to hold the button, just click once to start. I agree a timer would add a fun incentive to beat it as quickly as you can, will add that in an update at some point. I think I'd like to polish this and expand the gameplay based off everyone's nice feedback.

I noticed the bug that you can click in the centre to instantly win, but thought it was funny so I left it in. You're only cheating yourself if you do it!

I like it. My primary issue is I'd like more, but that's a good problem to have.

Actually fun! I like the added rotation. Can be used both to speed it up, but also make it easier since you only need to move in one axis.

Nice and short game, I think it's easier to play with trackpad. Very easy to understand too, so no feedback from me.
