Crazy Pizza by Kruger Game Studio

[raw]
made by Kruger Game Studio for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

An Arcade-style pizza delivery game inspired by Sega's Crazy Taxi.

Use the arrow keys to steer the car. See how many Pizzas you can deliver.

You are a Pizza Delivery driver.

The only problem is that it's Friday night and your boss is absolutely crazy.

He wants you to deliver every pizza in 30 seconds, to make things worse you live in the worst-designed city in the world.

Use the arrow keys to control the Pizza Delivery car. You have 30 seconds to deliver the Pizza. The Green arrow at the top of the screen points in the direction of the order.

After successfully delivering a pizza you have to make your way back to the start to pick another pizza before you can deliver the next one. You have 30 seconds to get back.

Great work! The car controls pretty well and it's just enough leeway to be a challenge without being too simple. I will say the arrow can be quite hard to read and a minimap would've gone a huge way but all the same it was very workable. Loved it!

Kudos for making a 3d racing game; I haven't seen many of those so far. This game has a solid recipe, but the camera was a significant obstacle to fun; it started facing backwards, and it never quite seemed to point where I wanted it to. This was a really ambitious project for one weekend!

Very very fun and stressful!

The indicator is not super helpful - i thought this is because of the model - it would still be more helpful if it was a big arrow rather than a cone. The main issue was however that it does not consider the angle of the camera and so is not helpful at all sadly :(

This is actually really fun. I had issues deciphering which way the cone was pointing though and often went down the wrong road. There were other times where I felt the cone was pointing in the wrong direction. The controls actually felt really good and I was reversing with ease. I loved (and hated) how going up hill slows you down. Attention to detail and polished controls are a big thing I look for when playing a game and this game had it.

Car movement feels good, I like how much speed you can build on downhills. However, it was really difficult to navigate since the arrow doesn't seem accurate.

e.g. Here the arrow points the wrong way

Pretty fun, as others pointed out there were some issues with camera facing; it corrects quick enough toward the direction you want to go, but doesn't let you see if you're thinking of taking a turn though. Also agreed on the speed on hills situation, although I did feel like I was almost about to flip my car when I was racing full speed down a hill as the horizontal speed was enough to give air time haha.

I liked it, but I found the arrow confusing.

The car physics are pretty fun! I liked how fast you could accelerate going downhill :)

Finding the delivery point was a bit difficult and the arrow didn't help much, but I think if you fixed it, it would be a really fun game!
