The Monster in Man by Reallysketchy
---Objective---
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to kill all enemy soldiers in air strikes. Do your best to avoid killing civilians and destroying the hospital or you will become the very monster your daughter fears you becoming. The Red bar on the left tells you how bad you've become.
The enemies are red, the civilians are blue and the hospital is red. After every level you beat, you go to a shop to buy upgrades.
There are three basic levels, though you can play past the third.
1. The enemies and civilians walk at normal speed.
2. The enemies and civilians walk at double speed.
3. The enemies and civilians walk at triple speed and the enemies are suicide bombers, so they explode when hit.
---Controls---
All you have to do is click where you want to drop a bomb. *IMPORTANT* I forgot to put this in the game, but when you buy a smoke or precision bomb, each purchase buys you a single bomb, so use it well. You change the bomb you are about to drop using the number keys. 1 is normal bombs, 2 is smoke bombs and 3 is precision bombs. if you run out of special bombs, you won't be able to shoot until you press 1 again to launch a normal bomb.

I really like the concept, and there's flow to the gameplay. Having upgrades is nice.
The minimalistic graphics is okay. It subtracts from the emotional effect, but if you chose to move this forward, you could play this as "the inherent anonymity of war" or something.
Anyways, great job.
PS: Runs on Mac. (Should be true for all Unity games, but sadly isn't, from what I've tried in the compo so far.)
@filiph I know, I wish I had time to add audio it would have really pushed the feeling of war in the game. I'll just have to do it for the next version!
@chromebookbob Thanks! It was actually just something I thought of near the end to help it better tie in to theme. I really wish I could have spent more time on it with voice acting, though.
@raducumiczzz Haha thanks! Just wait, there'll be more of this!
Sometimes soldiers get stuck on people and won't move for several seconds.
It reminds me the game "September 12th".
Nice work!
The only things I can only say that, except the graphics and sound, in the last level I can't kill the last of them. It seems he become immortal. And the only ways to kill the civilians and enemies is 2 ways: Or corner them and blast them all or be a super damn sniper and hit them in the "eye". We fire bomb, so they need to die against them, not to be pushed.
Overall, the game is regular. It needs to add graphics and sound assets and fixes stuff. But making a game in 14 hours is a great feast.
