PAPERCUT by moonsheep
It seems the Ludum Dare website embed is not working properly. Please try the game out on itch.io.
Agent Mailman, we need top secret information delivered to our covert agents! Get on it stat!
In PAPERCUT, your mission is to deliver important letters to spies - but be careful, there are enemy spies roaming around who do not want the letters to reach their destinations! Thankfully, the letters double as spy gadgets: use them to set up ropes that you can climb, distract enemies, or PAPERCUT them to death!
Controls: - A/D for movement - Space to jump - W to climb - Right click to aim - Left click to fire - E to interact - Q to switch between gadgets - R to restart level

The visuals are absolutely fantastic. You nailed the feel of the game like in the old criminal / detective comic book. Music is a really good touch there as well.
I found the controls a bit clunky, but it's about the experience and feels here, not a perfect gameplay.
Definitely a time well spent, great job guys!
I got to climb on top of the end game level, would have been a perfect spot to hide an easter egg!
Really fun, only complaint is the slow climbing, but it didn't really hinder the experience. The stealth gameplay felt so cool too, like with the art and sound working together to create this 60's spy aesthetic making one of the most unique games of this jam. Though there doesn't seem to be an incentive to not use the rope letter all the time since those also kill people and you can make it through the game only using it. Really well done!
The only things you could improve would be to make parts of the gameplay a little more fluid, like rope climbing, and making sure your textures are imported with correct options in Unity so they don't look blurry.
Overall this is great, congrats on making this game!
It's a really cool game with a very unique aesthetic!
Great entry!@
