The movement was a bit frustrating, and I got caught a number of times on the dog, even though I wasn't moving when he saw me. My hand was starting to cramp before I reached the toybox on the first screen. I had to write up an autohotkey script to get through the game.\r<br\/>Second, the timing on the traps was complete guesswork. I realize in retrospect the audio cues were supposed to help, but the whole audio just became an ambient mess and I ended up just skooching forward and stopping at random points until the threat passed. I can't imagine how frustrating this would've been if I hadn't been mashing space 30 times per second. I generally like audio-based mechanics, but these just didn't work out because of the input system. Sorry."},{"author_name":"PeteGrammarman","author_uid":"15086","time":"Sep 13, 2015 @ 1:54am","epoch":1442108940,"text":"Didn't understand what the sounds were supposed to be or what they meant. The hand drawn art was very nice, and it's what pulled me into the game. The spacebar as a control is fine, but moving that slow, especially when nothing happens on the first screen, is very frustrating."}],"images":["ld33\/56925-efaf2559e1c5cc1c9431ed36154a6f7a.jpg","ld33\/56925-643f7aa7897d81b5f04e8bd2d6f24ae1.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B3eRmpZLjJrHcTZPVnQ4QkxPU2s\/view?usp=sharing","text":"Windows"},{"url":"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B3eRmpZLjJrHNHdwTkJoVE5lSlU\/view?usp=sharing","text":"OS\/X"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"8800","g_author":"56925","g_event":"LD33","g_eventkey":"29","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"8833","g_title":"Closet Monster","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"5","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/479518\/56925-shot0-1440458817.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/479518\/56925-shot1-1440458817.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Welcome to Closet Monster.\r\n\r\nEveryone knows things go bump in the night...\r\n\r\nDownload and unzip.
