I liked very much!
It's very well polished and I didn't find any bugs. The art is very beautiful and the choice of color palette was excellent and the level design is well thought out. It could be more challenging, yes, but it's just right for a gamejam. I think what impressed me the most was the soundtrack. Very pretty and matches the mood of the game (something noir style).
Congratulations!

Great stuff! Plays good, looks good, sounds good (loved that jazzy track!). Nothing groundbreaking but super solid puzzle platformer.

Wow, that's impressive! The character control feels super smooth and natural, no unnecessary sliding, very good. The slower movement with the heavy box - great.

Graphically, that's also very appealing; the subtile tutorials hints were included in a very elegant manner.

Very well done guys! Especially considering your age - just wow

Wow. This game was awesome! The art style was amazing and works really well in full screen. I absolutely LOVED the music and each level being its own short little puzzle was great. Awesome job!

What a great entry!
A solid platformer with cool mechanics, great characters, puzzles and juice! And a companion box of course.
A great interpretation and implementation of the theme.

Idk what to say. Looks like full completed game ready to sell. Sound is briliant, graphics awesome. Good and simple controling. Death effects with feathers is sooooo good. I like that every level you have new different mechanics with simple box. Hope you will win!

Great entry! Art and sound design was executed really well, controlled nicely and level design was pretty good. Only real complaints I have would be that the box felt a bit too bouncy/unpredictable and seemed to get stuck on a platform on the second to last level I believe? but didn't impact gameplay too much.

@johjoh Hey, thank you so much, yeah, we're onto that, it's just thinking up a reliable solution, it doesn't bounce for me you see, so it's harder to constantly test. Softlocking is another issue and while we've got the restart button hopefully we'll make it more lenient for when you're on edges. Hope it didn't ruin the game for you too much!

This was *really* good - The art, the music, the sweet sweet CRT filter and change in soundtrack when you're scrolling the camera around. Lots here to love!

My one disappointment was that I never got to see what was in the package! My cat distracted me and I looked away when the end cutscene was playing 😅

In terms of constructive feedback, I noticed that the hitbox of the laser seemed a bit wider than you might expect - I got tagged with it a couple times when it looked like I was under an overhang. The only other feedback that I have is that I discovered a softlock here - It's possible to get the package stuck just next to the button, and have to hit R to restart the level

![paddy-softlock.PNG](///raw/dec/c2/z/5ae94.png)

Aside from those nitpicks though, great job! I really enjoyed the game, and the vibe was spot on. I finally understand what a 5/5 mood looks like!

@koolruz Thanks for playing! Aware of the softlock, there's a couple bugs but I'm glad it wasn't destroy the world level of badness! ;D Glad you thought it was worth your time.

I have nothing negative to say about the game. It's a very polished game, I didn't find any bugs. I thought the gameplay flow was well done. When the game ended, I wanted more, it was very sad to see the feathers on the ground from your past death D:

This was cool. I feel like it struck a good balance between puzzle elements and timing/platforming challenge. My only minor complaint is that there were some places where the challenge felt "fake": mostly places where there were lasers but the player is almost guaranteed to already be carrying the box anyway. But this is a pretty minor complaint. The game was fun overall.

Super fun and cute to play. Love the bouncy box even if it was useful only once :) So much potential, stunning entry for this jam in so little time. The sound, the art, the level design. Great job !

Very cool game, the graphics look great, I loved the bouncy animations and the music fit perfectly! It took me some time to get used to the aiming mechanic, maybe you could have just used 8-directional aiming since I didn't feel like I had to do precise throws. Anyway that was very fun to play, good job!

This was a lot of fun. Really loved the slinky music with the fretless bass sound, gave me some Final Fantasy 8 vibes, a bit!

While the game mechanics weren't especially innovative, they were really well done and balanced just right for a jam game. I died several times but was still able to complete it. I thought leaving the feathers of failed Paddys behind was a great detail!

Perhaps it was left out because I can imagine it could get annoying, but I think some sort of sound for the lasers would've been good and added to their menace a bit more.

All in all this was super enjoyable. Good luck in the jam!

Well polished, only suggestion is that you turn down the look-ahead-time of the camera, so it doesn't bounce back when the player stops. Otherwise very great entry with a lot of style, fitting visuals, sounds and perfect difficulty curve of the levels/puzzles.

Great game, just beat it! My only feedback is that the levels were a little too easy.

You explained the controls very well at the beginning, and I liked the extra polish you did where the music changes while you are panning the screen with "c".

Clearly a lot of polish went into this game. All the controls feel great, and our pigeon friend feels great to control. Plenty of juice to go around. The main mechanic is fairly interesting. There's definitely more for you to explore with it, gameplay-wise! Cool game!

Daaaamn what a game, really polished with a celeste vibe, the controls are cool and the effects are perfects.
The feathers that stays on the level after you die, what a nice idea !

Find one little bug, if you send the box in a tube without throwing it, the character can't move anymore.

The level design is smart, maybe a little hard in the end, nothing more to say, excellent game !

@spacespytv I guess I'm just not that smart, I tried to left click everywhere on the cart but nothing did happens for a relative long time. Just took me a moment to realize that I may need to be in front of it and clicked on the "ropes" i guess.
Nothing's too buggy or anything, I checked the controls on this page and I was'nt sure which input was needed. Tried spacebar and other stuff for example.

The issue for me is that I was never told what to do, I tried to push the cart from behind at some point.

Hope that helps a little

@arthur-sorignet-gautrot Sorry for that, but I'm referring to the bug with the pipes!

04. May 2023 · 14:36 UTC
Oooh my bad, was testing some other game, don't mind my first response it dosn't concern yours.

It happened on the beggining of the last level, there's a pipe directly above your head, I took the box and jumped. The box went through the gate without me pressing the throw button. I saw the arrow (feedback for the throw direction) moving along with the box and couldn't do anything after that.

Sorry again for my old post.

Great looking game, wonderful music. The puzzles were quite tricky but I love the fact that the feathers of your previous self are left behind. If you're really bad at the level, it'll just fill up hehe! Overall, great!

Looks great, the music was nice and funky, and I appreciated the little dynamic touch that it changed a bit when scoping. I thought the penalty/slowdown for carrying the box was a bit too heavy. I could have been tossing the box around more I guess but that's also a chore if it bounces the wrong way (as it did with the little robots sometimes). The puzzles were cool but I guess there is only so much you can do with a side scrolling level. There might have been more but some bugs forced me to stop on this level:

![Screen Shot 2023-05-05 at 11.03.42.png](///raw/133/z/5b5d1.png)

![Screen Shot 2023-05-05 at 11.04.33.png](///raw/133/z/5b5d2.png)

I don't know if it was triggered by restarts or something but the laser beams went completely off the rails (moving to the left part of the level, sometimes moving rapidly without any beam, and most importantly, getting stuck and staying forever on the right side just before the button so that I couldn't actually beat the level.

The artstyle of this is amazing! I especially really like the background-art. I also like those small details like the feathers still being there after a death, showing where I previously died. The length is also perfect - it doesn't feel too short and stops before it overstays it welcome. Great game overall!

Great job on the game! It's really well-polished and the gameplay is super smooth and fluid. I thought the way the character jumps was really interesting - using the engine's animation to save time and create a really satisfying experience. The art is gorgeous and the colors are used really effectively. The music fits the atmosphere perfectly, and I didn't feel like there was anything missing in terms of sound effects. The puzzles were also really fun. Overall, amazing work on an excellent game! Congratulations! ♡( ◡‿◡ )

First off, there's lot to like about this game. It's very polished:
- The art and sound design are both really well done!
- The gliding feels great to use, and movement is very responsive.
- I thought you guys tuned the box throwing physics very well.
- You did a great job teaching the game while I was playing. It was very intuitive and I never got stuck.

However, I wasn't really a fan of the level design. It felt like a series of tasks, and not really requiring thinking to come to a solution:
- One obstacle that feels like this are the lasers
- There are several times in the game where you need to throw a box on a switch to turn off a laser, then pick up the box and move on. That's a great introduction to that mechanic... but why am I doing it over and over? There's not really a puzzle behind that. If you watch ategon's video, look at: 54:24, 54:50, 55:44.
- Another mechanic is the tube:
- Every time I saw it, I just shove the box in because that's always the right answer.

Maybe I'm just a bit confused, because it seems to present itself as a puzzle platformer to me, with the box and the laser, and the tube. But then it seems to become almost an action platformer where my timing and reflexes matter more and the box tossing and other puzzle mechanics gets pushed off the side. They didn't really mesh well together. I think I would've enjoyed the game more, gameplay-wise, if it chose to focus on one or the other, puzzle or action, and remove the redundant puzzles.

Phew! that was some stealth delivery game!
I'm surprised the box would open at end of game though even though it has been blasted by laser beams.
