Package sorter by Tul Games

made by Tul Games for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

Say hello to my first Ludum Dare submission

Package sorter is a fun game where you need to sort color coded packages onto their respective trucks' loading docks. It gets more and more challenging as you play the game but it's all worth it when you beat your high score! To improve your gameplay experience you can buy upgrades in the shop with the coins you collected! Check out the trailer here: https://youtu.be/Ulc8YVJl8a0

Controls

To move around use the arrow keys and the mouse to move the boxes around.

Great game! gets chaotic and some elements could use some more feedback/clarity but overall it was a really fun experience. Nice job

I agree with Frey that the game needs more visual/audio feedback, such as a signal that tells you that packages are sorted nicely/poorly, and another signal that tells how many packages you can miss until the game is over. Still it was a nice game, I found those boxes flying around really funny :)

@lightpotato Thank you for your feedback! I put a sign in the top right corner under the score counter with the amount of missed packages per minute, which can at most be 10, after 10 it's game over, but I agree I should've made that more clear. I think the signal if the packages are sorted nicely is also a good idea!

Nice game, it got a bit repetetive after a while but besides that it was fun to play!

Nice little game, it would be cool to add some fun things that come down the conveyor other than rectangular packages to throw you off a bit. Great job!

It's a great game, but I must agree with the others that sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming, but I did enjoyed the experienced nonetheless.

The game was programmed very well, works very smoothly. However, it does need some tweaking. The price for upgrades is very high. I also only stumbled upon using the arrow keys to move down the loading dock. I might have missed it in the documentation. Also, A and D key to move up and down the dock. Also an arrow on either side of the play window to move down the dock.

Game is good though, and I had fun playing it

I was really confused when new colors started showing upi did not realize you could move the camera that was not very intuitive. But once i did realize and played a bit longer i loved how frantic the game got.

Nice game, works really smooth, this difficulty curve is diabolic though XD

Really nice game, works very well! I found that the speed of the camera was too slow, so getting from ine end to another before missing a lot of packages was basically impossible. Would also be nice with an exit button, when it is forced full-screen, so I don't have to go into taskmanager. But other than that, really great game!
