Rocket Fast Delivery by garlic
There seems to be a problem with the HTML5 build :frowning: Please use the provided Windows build
Being a pizza delivery guy in a town plagued by pizza-hungry robots has its upsides. For example, your standard issue rocket launcher doubles as a self-defense weapon and a rocket-jumping tool that allows for lightning fast delivery that you pride yourself on. Deliver pizzas in the correct order to the correct doors and avoid swarms of robots. Buy upgrades with your money and earn extra tips by delivering fast.

I tried your game, but it said to "push the button to start the first wave", but no button seem to start this first wave.
Bit of a negative with player movement, I had a hard time walking on the planks. Walls are blocking movement instead of "sliding".
I'm not quite sure why there are several doors of the same color.
I had fun with it though and managed to make it to the top of the big building by rocket jumping up the side of it . We need more dedicated rocket jumping games!

Good job!
I enjoyed it very much, especially being way faster than the robots, was quite satisfying. Nice mechanics, and simple. Well done!
At the end it was said that I killed 0 robots, which is not true. It was a very fun experience and I played the game longer than almost any other Ludum Dare game. Please name your zip folder better next time:

I feel like the later stages had too many robots; nothing to do with it being too hard, but being too easy. They all sort of started to break down when there were over a certain amount. Not sure if it was the pathfinding that was buggered or something else, but it got to a point where I could stand still and not worry because pretty much all of them were stuck.
Really great game though!
But then... I started mastering the rocket jump and it started to be pretty fun !
Zipping around the level, finding alternate doors and better/easier routes, timing the jumps perfectly to get to each door directly, etc.
Although the enemies were only a danger if I stopped in the same place for a while at that point, as I was able to move to anywhere very quickly. And that only became easier as the number of enemies increased throughout the waves, which turns out makes the pathfinding much slower, so by wave 10-15 the enemies found their paths after I had already left, it also felt like they took more time to attack me when I was nearby.
It also made a dent in the framerate, although it wasn't too bad it was still harder to nail the tight timing jumps, like from the ground to the overpass highway or the building top green door. I was going for those for style points but started going for the ground alternatives then.
Reached wave 30, by that point the lag was quite bad though, I had a lot of pizza boxes lying around, as wave 23 repeats and you can't pickup the boxes anymore, but they still spawn for every wave.
Lastly, I'm not sure if the regen health option in the shop is broken or has special condition, but I could not buy it.
To close it off I climbed to the top of the gigantic building by rocket boosting on the side multiple times and was thinking "hey there must be an easter egg up there !", there wasn't, thought I at least had a cool screenshot to share, but saw someone posted nearly the exact same above, oh well :joy:
except mine is from wave 30 with a mess of boxes on the ground so still posting it haha
