The RoboNebula entry for LD33 you are the monster: The fairytale hijacker. A man who hates the happy endings in fairytales builds a machine to become the fairytale bad guys! Its your task to give the fairytales bad endings! Can you do it? Can you change the fairytale? Throughout this pixelated adventure through the story of Little red riding hood you, the scary wolf must eat little red riding hood and her grandmother and slay the hunter!

We originally planned to have at least 2 fairytales, but we could only complete one in time and we didn't have the time to put music in the game either.

Love the pixel art! I did not know how to find Red at first, but figured that out soon enough. Perhaps the game can hint the player a bit in this regard.

The telephone booth (Tardis) is a blockade, you can't walk past it. You'll have to go to the other side.

I just love fairytales with bad endings! Also, graphics look cool. Winning was way too easy though, I would've liked a little more challenge.

He he he. A great pixel art game with simple and fun gameplay. The sound is a bit weird in dialogues but the rest is ok. The combat was really fun ;-)

Good graphics and gameplay. I loved the art style but I missed a music, that would increase a lot the immersion.
Overall, good entry =)

Wow! A huge potencial here! The pixel art is very good and gameplay is funny! The mechanics puzzles are simple and cause a nostalgic feeling. The dialogue sound is a litle bit agressive, but kind funny too. You should do more levels with different tales! Congrats!

Really cool idea. It's a shame you weren't able to get more levels. Would love to see a post-ld version with more levels (and maybe some music!)

Great gfx and pacing. I think the Soundtrack could be a bit more "evil" and not that friendly but that is my only critic :)

Uh.. Wrong post, managed to confuse the tabs. .. ^^ Corrected Rating. I like your game, lauged a lot when I saw the Tardis :D Good job! Only the SFX when someone is talking is a bit annoying. Otherwise really big in humor!

Ha, pretty interesting concept and neat execution. Shame you didn't have time to make more "levels". I would love to see this game fleshed out with more fairy tales and more complex in game mechanics. Really fun game with neat art style.

I still was unable to find the key :( As far as I remember from the original fairy tale, the entree just had to pull the rope - and the door would open.

Had fun fighting with the hunter :)
