Goldstriker by wolkp
Travel deep underground in a dangerous quest of finding the mythic Philosopher's Stone!
During each attempt, you will gradually build your deck of cards.
Cards will help you to dig deeper and face the awaiting dangers.
TLDR: This is a deck-building turn-based roguelike about a guy exploring a dangerous underground.
Oh, and he is searching for the ultimate treasure.
//Note:
I used models, particles and sound effects from the assets I own - only customizing them a little to make them juicer and/or better fit the game's aesthetic.
I also used grid pathfinding from my last prototype - I've decided not to do it from scratch
//added a quickfix because removing a card in the shop was causing some bugs

Overall, it still feels polished. Well done!

@kilirane Thanks! <3
@asfdfdfd Yeah, Beam is really cool. I wanted to make more than 3 area cards to make this game more fast-paced. But anyways I'm happy with how it turned out
@lerg Thanks. Currently no, I've tried to launch a html5 build here but it behaved really strange :D
That said, very impressive game! Good looking and quite interesting to play. Here's my playthrough:

@yngvarr Wow thanks for that gameplay video! It's the first time I actually see someone else play the game, means a lot to me :D Thanks for the feedback too
The game play is very smooth, the audio is done well. I enjoyed playing this.
The cards really did make the game play. Not being able to beat every enemy instantly and having to back track is a great feature.
nice work! :)

Next time try to consider us old dinosaurs when you're making your UI :)
I also suffered some weird graphical bugs (z-fighting / everything turning dark??) when trying to play on my laptop, but that is admittedly a niche setup (M2 Macbook Air running Windows 11 ARM via Parallels) and I've seen some graphical flickering issues in other games so I wouldn't worry too much about it, maybe some sort of weird driver issue.
Anyhow, this was fun, I wish there were more cards to make some sort of more degenerate setup like in most deck-building games but I understand this is only an LD entry haha. A minor complaint would be that some of the bomb / hit sfx are overpowering in volume when compared to the music / other audio which means I didn't get to appreciate it as much.
