Darkness has fallen over the Kellman family farm. It use to be a peaceful place, but now evil lurks deep in the fields. Terrified for their lives, the family has taken refuge in the barn. They’ve been stuck for days and are hungry. It’s up to you harvest the crops to feed them, or die trying.

Goal: Harvest your crops as fast as you can (SPACEBAR) while avoiding scarecrows that have come to take revenge upon your family. They'll relentlessly hunt you while you collect food needed to survive. When you think you've collected all that you can, take it back to your barn to save it and head back out for more. Getting hit 3 times will be the end of your harvest... for good.

Mindblowing graphics and mood. Wow! But too difficult for my tired brain, I always get caught and don't know how to prevent it

Amazing cutscene and the atmosphere of the game is awaseme. I managed to score 1140 then I crashed to the fence and immedietly got hit by 3 strawmans.

Epic Opening Cinematic, fun to drive about and avoid the scarecrows, would be nice to see the horde get increasingly bigger. Overall good stuff :)

The opening cut scene was great and I enjoyed the game thoroughly. However the fact that a single scarecrow can instantly kill you is a little frustrating and getting around the turn to drop off corn can be really difficult.

Impressive design, very great harvesting effect. If it was simpler, it should be very decompressing.

Currently it is too difficult for my tired brain as well.

Opening is really cool. Also really like the graphics, and the controls are fine.
I would add some indicator on where you exactly need to be, to deliver the crops.
I would also maybe add so the same scarecrow cant hit you 3 times in a row so quickly. Something should at least prevent that you die within 1-2 seconds of the game starting.

But overall really cool game.

Very fun game! We thought of a similar concept in our brainstorming phase, but your execution is awesome! the intro cinematics are also crazy for the timespan.

Awesome work!

10/10 horror movie intro

Really enjoyed the graphics and the atmosphere. I am wondering if the controls are purposedly clunky for maximize the fun of the game (it kind adds challenge) and i'll assume that's the case. I just am sad that after that intro i don't control the scarecrow from hell.

Excellent entry.

Wasn't expecting an opening cinematic with voiceover and music. Pleasantly surprised. I like the spotlight effect on the player. Though I wish the turn to place the corn in the barn wasn't so tight. I got stuck clipping on something a few times and couldn't recover. Either way, it was an interesting twist on the combine gameplay by having spooky scarecrows chase the player. I found my go to strategy was to outrun them to the otherside of the map and farming as much as I could before they caught up.

I loved the graphics and the cinematic, it's so great!
But I need an easy mode, I can't last even a minute :`)

Awesome opening cinematic! Need info on how you made it :) . i find the game very hard, and i have absolutely no problem just harvesting without any enemies. maybe you should include a chill out mode! Good effort

@kostas-nik Thanks! The artwork was drawn in Krita and then all brought together in Davinci Resolve.

That intro was really well done.

I got over 1500 on my second attempt. The game doesn't seem to get progressively harder, so I just kept dodging the scarecrows like Neo until the physics engine had a fit and my tractor started spinning like a top.

Solid game.

@justin-c 1500 is great for the second attempt! Definitely would have liked to increase the scare crows over time but ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

@derek-volker Yes. We wondered a bit if people would expect to play the scarecrow, could be a fun sequel!

First imoression:
WOW, wow!! Charming art,
but wow amazing voice acting and cinematic antimation in the opening scene that blew me away!!! Who ever did the VA work, ya are amazing!

After playing:
Janky controls, but good bgm, ghrapics and decent gameplay. Still looks like a more or less commercial game.
Great work!! :D

@n0va Thank you for the kind words! The voiceover was me yelling into my microphone over and over while not trying to scare the neighbors, then dropping it all 2 octaves in post-processing before placing it over the animation. Was a ton of fun to do. Super proud of the team.
