Loveless : a multiplayer story by Mark Venturelli
*ENDING NOW AVAILABLE!*
*Get the OST here: http://danoliveira.bandcamp.com/releases *
*GAME DOESN'T LOAD?* Unity's WebGL is a bit sketchy. Try pressing F5 to try again and avoid switching tabs while the game is loading. It will work eventually!
*WARNING: This is not a game, don't expect gameplay*
Loveless is a multiplayer non-linear story inspired by the poem "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg.
Discover the stories of 3 very distinct characters, then choose to take the role of one of them to make a life-or-death choice.
All players' choices will be recorded online, and will ultimately decide the outcome of the story.
We will reveal this custom ending one day before Ludum Dare voting ends.
Then we will see what kind of monster you all are.

Sleep deprivation taking its toll
The correct build is up now
Social freaking experiment!?!?!? WHAAAAT?
Nice art style and story setup.
Regarding the game, I just got wandering if being presented with a single option once or twice was the result of this interconnected logic or a design choice. Appealing graphics.

SHEET.
I would comment how great the game is in every aspect but i'm TOO CURIOUS TO KNOW THE ENDING.
:)
Noooo... I have to wait??? Great game, spectacular work.
I was sorely grieving the lack of a "pay attention to the damn engineer like someone who isn't a total idiot" option anywhere besides perhaps the end, but I have that gripe with many a tragic tale. I'm excited to hear how it turns out.
I have to admit, though, I am very interesting to see where this story is going and NEED to know how it ends.
(Surely everyone voted to trust each other, right? Right?)
Very nice. =D
I am not sure about the ending, but my decisions unnecessarily make me feel like a monster since my intention is to get everyone to survive. It would be more interesting if my decision is to choose one of the two to save (grey choices). Right now, it is a choice of saving myself or risk for the whole team (obvious good vs bad). Or am I missing something?
Nonetheless, a very well done game! Good job!
In any case, nice story, good characters and writing. I would have liked to see some more backgrounds maybe, but the ones that were there were nice.
My decision is in and I await the results!
And yes, guys, the game does follow the theme... It's just subtle ;)
I can't wait for the answer of the others xD
Overall, it's a very good game. Well done.
I like the idea of interactive story, the way audience and developer interacts...
Overall 5/5!
Overall, an excellent game. I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.
Nice music too btw :)
Please avoid spoilers in the comment sections, ok? :)
