I got a 404 error when trying to play the html version. The artwork looks awesome though! I also enjoyed the music.

I'm unable to open the game, it says index.html is missing.

The game is very well done!
I Get a bit divided about the audio... it could be better mixed (Enemy spawns are too loud), bas yout ambience is very well built. The windy background, the chill vibe from the music. Its quite pleasant to play.

The loop is fun, while simple. A nice cozy game, if I could say so.
Congrats

This was one of my favorite ones to play thus far! The art, the music, the sounds, and the gameplay all really came together! I'd love to see more with the end where you can move on to other levels and such, but overall this was excellent! Great job!

Very satisfying harvesting! You could have probably stopped there and still done great in my eyes.

I wasn't challenged by the combat or oxygen timer, so I didn't spec into them when upgrading. I think I'd have preferred if you'd focused on making one of the problems more interesting and removed the other one completely.

Still, I got to swing a scythe and had a good time doing it! Also, I am now freeeeee

I loved the sprite for the ship and the ambient harvesting music was awesome. The core game loop is definitely worth exploring. Tying the distance from the ship to uncut wheat is an interesting mechanic that can get balanced out with subsequent upgrades. Good stuff.

I really like the art style, the ship looks great and the wheat sprites waving in the wind honestly look amazing. I feel like the actual cutting action could be a little more satisfying. I wish I wouldn't stop movement during the scythe action and sometimes I didn't understand how far exactly I could cut. Sometimes the scythe visual looked like I hit an enemy, but did not deal any damage. Otherwise the game feel is super nice and the upgrades already feel quite impactful!

Do I download Celestial_Wheatfield.zip or build_patched.rar?

Fun game and the fields looks great! But sprites are rendering in a weird order, for example the player is always completely above the fields, I recommend to try using custom axis on sort mode (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-GraphicsSettings.html#Camera) with y set to 1, that way sprites that are below will appear on front, masks may also be helpful. Also the hitbox and animation of the scythe don't match and feels a bit weird.

Beautiful art style! And music fits nicely too. Enemies could appear fast and be more aggressive, since I was pretty much done when I saw first few! Besides that, cool game!

Impressive entry. Loved the music and graphic style. Everything was really well made. My only complaint is about damaging enemies. There should be some feedback when the enemy is hit otherwise it's a bit tough to see whether you hit it or not. I played it until the end and the upgrades were such a nice touch. Congrats!

I loved the visual style! It made me want to explore further and get lost in a wavy field of golden wheat. The upgrade system added nice variety and progression to the gameplay. I do think the art could have been a little more consistent between the wheat, the ship/player, and the scythe. Individually, they looked nice, but altogether they weren't quite cohesive.

One other idea for more player feedback: some additional indication that my backpack was full. Even though the bar was showing how much I had, my eyes were often on where I was swinging the scythe. A lot of times, I had swiped 3 or 4 more times than I needed to, wasting wheat!

Great entry, great job to the whole team!! The music was very pleasant to listen to. By the way, next time, you should look into y-sorting so that the player doesn't appear on top of the wheat!

I could imagine playing the game longer after it ended. Harvesting wheat feels satisfying, I like that glow shader effect on it. Upgrades are good, they give a good sense of progression and everything is useful. I could see this game expanded into something bigger, for example adding endlessly generating fields many more upgrades. The movement felt a bit weird though.

@maximbegunov Thanks a lot for your comment, It was supposed to be a vaste world to explore with multiple biomes, creatures, Bosses, Weapons, Ruins and Shipwrecks but time was running out ! The Concept is always ambitious ! ^^
Have a great day!

@hawkin Thank you ! Scythe was a place holder we forgot to change, but it's fixed in the patch ! I totally agree on more feedback for backpack and ennemy hit (surely player hit too), Assets were done but time was running out for implementing it ! As for sorting the player, maybe another patch will fix that "later this week (or maybe later)" Have a nice day !

Great game. First of all the graphics just look amazing. I love the swaying of the wheat, i always liked those features in games. Upgrading the scythe and then farming with increased range was just great.
The combat however, was too easy, i don't think i got hit once and never upgraded my damage, just walking to the side and attacking those scorpions was enough.

A fun and amazing looking short game, good job

Awesome game with great visuals, music and purpose behind what your doing. Was satisfying and fun to collect the wheat and to get the upgrades when progressing. Stopping to swing your weapon felt a bit off to me. Combat was lacking some it would of been nice to hear more of the battle music seeing as it sounded dope although the surprise that came with the initial engagement was cool. Just finished the game with I think 3 seconds of oxygen left. I loved it great job.

This looks amazing! I love the animations and effects on the wheat. It feels more complex than it seems with teh upgrades, but overall well done!
