Racing Reaper by Crygos
Hello Fellow Reapers
Welcome to our adrenaline-loaded, rural field race where you try to harvest as many souls as possible!
You - as a reaper - have access to the most efficient machine of life and afterlife: a tractor. It allows you to detach the souls of creatures and to collect them. But be careful: your field is filled with obstacles that complicate your reaping duties. Will you still become Reaper of the Month? There is only one way to find out: Start reaping!
Controls
Simply move your tractor with arrowup and arrowdown. Alternatively, you can also use w and s. Buttons in the game can also be activated with enter and spacebar.
Mobs and Items
As an honest, hard-working reaper, it is your daily duty to collect valuable souls... so, chickens it is! However, these rusty scarecrows are not happy with the situation and try to destroy your trusty tractor by throwing themselves at it. Since they move on their own there must be a bit of soul inside them (hmm... souls...). Pitchforks leave ugly scratches in your chassis, so you better avoid them and keep your engine running. Gladly, some pyromaniac peasant left fuel canisters on the field (crazy country folk!). They are filled with special fuel that repairs your engine but also accelerates your tractor. So choose wisely whether you dare to pick it up. Also, there is peaceful hay that's just minding its own business. You may want to try what happens when a tractor hits these picturesque hay bales. Oh...and there are rumors about some sort of ancient device from a long-forgotten age of technology. If you come across one, know that this device is stronger than death and will outlive even the reaper…

Simple funny game with goofy characters, love it! The chicken keeps running from me :(
I found it really fun that we both had a similar idea of a grim reaper hopping up and down lanes, but executed it completely differently. I never would have thought of just putting the grim reaper on a tractor, brilliant!
I love the cute little graphics and had a good laugh at the sound effects!
Great idea visually indicating the different speeds of the chickens and the scarecrows by having them face towards or away from the player.
