Space Bugs are attacking the Farm!!!

Use your quick wits and trusty scythe to bat them away and harvest your berry bush!

Made (very casually) for Ludum Dare 52 - Harvest!

== Techniques ==

Your trusty scythe is stronger if you hit a bug with just the blade!!

If you DASH and SLICE at the SAME TIME it will do DOUBLE DAMAGE!!!

== Controls ==

WASD - Movement

Space - Dash (Towards Mouse)

Left Click - Attack (Towards Mouse)

ESC/Enter - Enter Shop/Pause

pretty fun game, felt like I was just waking away aimlessly for a bit though.

I love the concept of wacking bugs away from you crops, however I found myself mostly standing near the bush and clicking at the bugs, maybe there should be some changes to the enemy AI to incentivize moving around and using your dash. Also nothing happened when my health went to zero (which took a while, the enemies need to attack more) it just went into the negatives. Voicelines were fun though, and not bad experience overall.

@sean-spiggle @lzxh Thanks for playing! Yeah, I didn't really um finish the game (per se...), but I'm glad you had fun!!!!

Yeah there's definitely a lot you could do with different enemy AI's and wave-based spawning. I also wanted to have traps you could put down on the ground to hit the bugs into to FRY THEM!!! But alas, no time!

I liked the concept as well. The voicelines were indeed fun. But the counter "100/100" could go negative? I am not sure what it was tho. I think I can add nothing new other than what Izx said.
