Unfortunately it looks like some of our lighting elements dont work in the HTML version. It is still very much playable!
There is also a download link that i would recommend checking out if you can :)
edit: It works well for me in the page !
There is an infinite number of level ? (with difficult increase I suppose)
First time I thought the blue particles was to indicate the exit, but my brain was too much working at this time and was like "so, if the air enter from the outside, I have to go to the oposite of the particles"
I like how it is polished: with particles, animated number for damages, lighting, camera shakes...
The only point borrowed me is that I can break each boss if I'm at the limit range of the pistol: Bosses dont move anymore and take damages
Visuals are clean and enemies are easy to distinguish both from each other and from the background, The weapons on the ground are quite difficult to spot tho, as they appear near identical to other non-pickup objects on the ground.
The walls opening and closing around you is an interesting mechanic. Apart from the times it traps you in a confined space, the dynamic map keeps the engagements fresh. Transparent outlines appearing before a wall spawns is a nice quality-of-life addition.
Enemies are a bit bullet-spongy, the starting pistol is not a reliable tool even to defend myself until I find a better weapon. And after a point it becomes impossible to clear out the enemies before new ones spawn in; resulting in a huge, practically undefeatable horde chasing you around. It's forgivable tho as balancing in a jam game is rather difficult.
Didn't really get to experience the boss fight, it sure does look cool tho
Good work overall
Nice entry!
A thing that bothered me, though, is the camera alignment that feels a lot too firm in the transitions. Given it is a twin stick shooter, I actually don't see much of a point in having the camera lead the character in the movement direction at all.
If you do want to give the player the advantage of being able to look farther in the direction they're aiming in, maybe map the camera's offset from the player to the mouse's distance from the player. That way it might feel a lot smoother, like you're streching a rubber band.
Other than that, nothing to rant about. Good job :)
But overall I really like it and giving you high scores. Well done!
Idea is fresh here, i haven't saw anything like this on a jam.
I like playing this. Only issue I discovered is that enemies looks unbalanced, but I think it's just my claws:)
Thank you for sweet sumbition!
