Run 'n' Run

Go for a 3 minute run where every 10 seconds the game's theme changes to one of this year's finalists! Avoid rocks while scenery changes and game rules switch around.

Start game - Space, Enter

Walk - WASD, arrow keys

Shoot (requires gun) - Space, Enter

Restart - R (Some entities don't disappear when you restart, it's best to wait 1-2s after restart before starting new run)

There is no death, but game counts every time you hit an obstacle. My personal best is 3 (Update: 1!), but it should be possible to do hitless run.

Hint: The player's hitbox are the legs (spinning circle), rocks hitboxes are rectangles at the base of the rock.

Please try mirror or downloadable version if you have performance issues.

Cute arcade game with great ideas that require some polish.

Wish it had audio

Scored 31; "Split" totally wrecked me

This was fun and a cool concept to use all the themes!

Fun and very creative use of the theme! Appreciated having a "hit" counter instead of having to restart. Nice work

I like that that's a nice variety in game rules over the game, the 3 minutes flew by!
I think the hit counter could be a bit more obvious that it's a hit counter rather than a score. At first I was confused as I thought I was suppose to avoid the rocks and then noticed this number increasing when I did so initially thought it was a score. But other than that, great submission!

Good game, good balancing on the speeds of the player/objects. Very cool given the time requirements and lots of cool themes.

The amount of elements added is impressive. The game was fun, some parts are a bit repetitive though. Good job!

I loved this! Every new theme was a fun surprise, and I really enjoyed the little accompanying text. I got hit by a train and died. I will say that I found no incentive not to hit the rocks, and I collected as many as I could. (Ended up at 187). Well done overall!

Amazing game! At the start I was like: that is easy, I'm gonna do it in 0 hits... oh god what is happening XD
The game in mechanics and sheer number of them is impressive. I ended up with 27 hits. Great job with the game!
