I have no idea what is going on, but I really like it :D Nice one!

I don't know what I'm doing but it's pretty and kind of fun to cruise around. One bug I noticed is that the mouse stays centered when you open the pause menu so I can't quit normally.

Indeed a prototype! Hope you've enjoyed your first LD! It is always a special experience. It's ok to not have enough time to finish a game, it is a difficult exercise!

Hope you'll try another ludum dare!

The graphics are very nice. I wish there was more to do. Not bad for a first entry though!

That was really pretty!

It seems that the Youtube video on the game's page is set to private...

A bit hard to keep up speed when you lose it but I really enjoy the idea. Though it's not finished, it was still pretty fun in its state!

Visually it's pretty. Kind of mesmerizing. I wish the pacing was slower so you can enjoy it more.
Not really engaging in terms of gameplay but since you said it's a prototype, I imagine you didn't have time to make it more interesting.

Good job on your first game jam and overheating my GPU lol

Looks very nice, very well done for a first jam. The boost gauge didn't seem to update until it was empty though :( Very chill experience though, despite having to dodge stuff!

very nice music, a relaxing experience if you don't turn to sharply, i kinda didn't see a purpose to any action taken, but thats ok i guess. why no rating?

Wow, the graphics are so nice, well done! Only had one problem, as I pressed ESC I could not use the mouse anymore. :(

Even tho I didn't fully understand what was going on at all times, I felt very much at peace. It was very harmonic and nice to just surf around and exist :)

Very cool effects and gravity movement. Not totally sure what is the goal of the game though :P

Very cool. I like jam games that are more of an artistic endeavor. Reminds me of the game REZ on dreamcast. Nice graphics and relaxing gameplay, thank you for making it!

That was a cool environment to zoom around in, nice job on the VFX. The audio fit the mood well. One potential improvement would be to make the camera rotation tracking a bit snappier. The turns felt kind of squishy to me, and I think the camera lagging behind was the culprit.

Quite interesting and intriguing game. Not sure what I'm supposed to do but I like the look of the game and the music is nice. For some reason I couldn't move mouse on the pause menu. Anyhow, very nice looking game!

Nice idea! I like the space mood it gives, and also the spacial sound gets a good mood going on!
Sad it was crashing on release day, but congrats on getting it working!

Really cool concept and the graphics are great. Didn't really understand the gameplay though - I could speed up on the exploding stars but beyond that I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing - should I try to hit the small spheres? Sometimes they seemed to slow me down though. Didn't fully understand the bar at the bottom either. There was also no timer text at the top in the build I played so the end came up pretty abruptly in all of my runs. Music was cool too though some sound effects would help the gamefeel a lot. This concept has a ton of potential though, with some clearer gameplay and tweaks this could be really fun. Nice work!

This look insane for your first jam, surfing in the space!
Making a game in the space is usually hard to make the player locate itself, but you added a lots of details that help.
Good job, I think you will learn a lot from that.

This game looks amazing! The stars, the explosions, the clouds and the trails of your flight are brilliant to watch. Moving through space like silver surfer is so much fun! I like the music, but some sound effects would have made this even greater. I'm not so sure about the gameplay: I think I needed to move to the bright lights and run with the booster through big planets? Is that all? Maybe some feedback on your progress would be nice, so that you now if you're doing well or not.

But thanks for the experience. Really amazing what you did for your first entry!

(I am now in a rush to test as many games as possible to help, so please do not mind the cursory reviewing style.)

1. title screen: "ROLL DODG" -> "ROLL DODGE"; by the way, I know it is often hard to set up, but conveying information often works best in game, as opposed as having information before. Not blaming you given the time restrictions!
2. only clicked "OPTIONS", but coming back, I see the surfing seems to have already begun! :o
3. controls are QWERTY-only instead of layout-independent (I have an AZERTY keyboard), BUT arrow keys are enabled; however, will make my life difficult because of mouse + Q and D! (although ironically, they are aligned for me XD)
4. restart: the surfer is now greenish! :)
5. the music is *incredibly* soothing! :) Super effect on me
6. I experience some ‘lag’ when near a ‘green dust cloud’ particle effect; I guess this is much for my hardware to take (and there was a configuration panel at the beginning to choose graphic options, actually)
7. "UNIVERS OVER": oh noes! :o But I did not really see the progression, it is somewhat hard to figure out the current state of affairs. By the way, "UNIVERS" -> "UNIVERSE" (are you French as I am by any chance, seeing this, the spaces before your exclamation marks, and the pseudonym? ;) Then you have no excuse for the QWERTY business!!)
8. some sounds would add to the experience, for example, when super novas explode, and going through the little spheres
9. not sure how the green bar at the bottom works! (reading it again on the menu: oh, right! X) That was too much information for me before playing)
10. the constellations (amongst… pretty much everything) are beautiful! :)
11. on my AZERTY, weirdly enough, right roll is E instead of D! As if this one key was programmed differently. By the way, sideway rolls remind me of *Starwing* / *Star Fox* :)
12. reading the instructions again: actually, I have trouble differentiating comets and planets (and light?) in game; there are many things, so it is hard to tell!
13. oh, even planets *forming*! This is like a cosmology space trip :)

**Takeaway:** this is a particularly beautiful and poetic trip in the middle of cosmologic phenomena. Good job for visuals including effects, the whole atmosphere, the soothing vibe (while ironically, much destruction is going on!!). Even the movements are pleasant. The problem I see is that things related to gameplay are not clear enough (at least for me, I may have missed something, please tell me in this case!), although I get the general concept of navigating through the right collectible elements in order to gain boosts and time. Also, linking the theme to regularly exploding super novas is a great idea too, it feels both logical and poetic again.

A poetic space trip navigation experience that is already charming and soothing, and could become more than a prototype! Thanks. :)

PS: I know there is no sound in space, but some would really complement the beautiful music. ;) I do not know how I am supposed to assess audio, given that I love the music while there is no other sound… Just be aware that the music is incredible and that you should keep it.
