Rocket volley, Mines and Airborne soldiers for cycle of danger
Boxes and Hp drops as help cycle
They work at the same time with slight delay.

And we are playing an undead robot tv collecting soul for the ghost of mari-upol ?
It really feel like a game that tried to include everything popular without being anything.
The missile effect was really cool but it couldn't shine.
I think i would have rather play a simple 2D arena fight with crazy effect happening every 10 secondes around (maybe a single one at a time) and ennemy comming at you from a direction you can actually hit.
Важко контролювати іноді, і незрозуміла задача скілів вгорі,
Mostly 3c (character, camera, control) is a hardest part in such games. In some cases you might notice "blind collision spots" during the interaction with enemies and obstacles.

Being twice bigger compared to enemies makes it harder to avoid damage or aim properly.
Also, unfortunately, I didn't realize how to launch rockets after gathering 50 souls.
But I believe there is nothing impossible and everything could be fixed later in a post-jam version.
I really liked the rich animation, art and sound design along with music.
Concept is very promising, wish all the best with further development.
ps. You can bypass the door and jump over if you try enough
> Also, unfortunately, I didn’t realize how to launch rockets after gathering 50 souls.
The thing is it is more likely bottom attack. But you've just given me absolutely great idea for feature!
The jumping feels a bit loose.
Great music!
Shwinodogs too cute :)
Focusing more on your game, the contrasting art styles, the gameplay being somewhat wack, and just the general feeling of unease from the dialogue and story left me feeling very strange. I like the idea of telling the story of someone in the war and I like shining a spotlight on how the civilians are suffering but I feel this could've been handled more tastefully. The message of the game seemingly being "Kill them all" while understandable I feel is not the best message to give off. That being said I am saying this from the perspective of someone safe at home and not someone on the front lines or living in a war-torn country.
I hate to be such a downer and as such I'd light to highlight the parts of the game I thought were strong, the character design is very cool and the animations look nice. The music on it's own is quite nice and the background art is very clean as well. Level design is pretty good in a sort of Limbo-esque style.
I like all of those as individual pieces but am not sure they blended very well in the final product.
Either way, good job on finishing and releasing the game!
I think that real-world atrocities should be avoided in game jams. There simply isn't enough time to handle the subject matter well.
Excuse the massive non-sequitur, but I also want to mention that since you did not create all the art for your game, you are [supposed](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules) to opt-out of ratings in the "Graphics" category.
And about the art ratings, this whole thing is about showing art that my team did. They really deserve it! So as musician.
I suppose that's fair. I am experiencing your work from a very sheltered perspective. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime and try to be more open-minded.
Re: art ratings, just keep in mind for future LDs that your team needs to make 100% of the art during the jam. The rules are very clear about this and I'm not sure how you missed it.
Wait there is no such thing in rules about 100% as you said.
I think its fair enough for my artist to be judged for 95% of the game art they created, will ask Mike about that I guess. Thank you again! Have a good one !
(rate back plz?)
A good attempt to point more attention to the very important aspect of the war. Most people don't probably think about how it feels inside and don't think that it touches them (tho a lot of people suffering and dying right now in Ukraine). However I'm not sure that this genre and approach is the best to allow people to really feel what people of Ukraine feels right now with all respect to the efforts you've put.
Audio is very well made, and spot on with the interactions. Graphics are nice, but would love to see more symbiotic graphics, ie the background+map is very dark, urban ruins, but the boxes bright pink and rough. I had fun with the game, and the webversion worked very well, perhaps its the 1.1 version not sure, but it ran fine in Firefox
(Note: when the rockets fell from the sky, that was a very powerful feeling!)
About rockets, I filled the same way, when I was implementing that!
