It looks like a really fun and well polished game! But the speedrun and restart mechanic is way too hard and annoying

Good use of the theme, congratulations.
I haven't made it to the end yet. It needs thin timings and my 35 year old fingers can no longer press the buttons quickly. I'm talking about the fact that the character easily clings to the trees.
It's great that you made hints over the characters. I was missing a restore point. It's a little exhausting to start all over again.
Great job.

P.S. Oh yes, if there was a separate award for the title, I would give it to you.

As a fellow coffee enthusiast, I wholeheartedly agree with Sir CaffeineALot :D Well done to you and your team!
It is rather tricky >~< But I did manage to get a cup of joe or two <3

Fun game! I love the concept. Like a *very* tight timeloop game.

I can't get past the second cup of coffee, though :(

Well polished game but restarting the level every time is an annoying mechanic. Anyway, good job!

Pretty funny take on the theme, well done! I wish the theme was 'Every 15 seconds', because it feels like I need a little bit more time to complete the tasks.

this game was really really cool!!!! I like the speedrun aspect of it, and it was very satisfying figuring out optimal paths. Though i will add, the ending of the game was very quick, this doesnt mean it had little content, but i got the bottle and shield and green door and sword in 2 runs in total, so i would space them out a little bit more. Second thing, the green door checkpoint is great, but i would add another checkpoint right after you unlock the door from the priest, because those first few steps you have to do basically each run, and you do a lot of them, so adding a checkpoint there would make the game feel less repetitive and more about finding solutions to NEW problems. Also, right when i killed the coffee the game crashed so if you added an ending or anything i didnt see it unfortunately :( (i was on the browser version). other than that, this game was really well made and i am proud of what you guys did!

Thank all of you for your feedback! Yes the game is pretty hard and speedrunning is an aspect of the game! That said, we probably should've toned it down a little :) @geronimo thank you so much for your feedback! We wanted to add a shortcut at the start but didn't have the timein the end. Also there is a small end card which displays your total run count but in the heat of the moment a bug snug in and the game just crashes when defeating the boss. Anyways it was a fun Theme and we're glad you liked it even though it's a bit stressful :)

I think this was really fun! Loved the idea of having to replay and overtime becoming better. Really created a sense of learning and mastering. Good job! :)

The game feel polish and well designed, the art style is really cute! bonus point for the flip animation when you change direction lol, the only thing I would change is how you restart the game from the very beginning once you loose, remember this is a jam game, players are not necessarily invested in your game so having to start all over may be quite the turn off, anyway I think the consept is pretty solid and the planning and strategy element is well done. good job!

Speedrunning is hard for me, although I admit in this game it was addicting. The movement felt not as smooth as I hoped, specially when time is critical. I find it also wasn't clear which each NPC want from the icon hovering on top. It's interesting take on the theme.

Other than that, the game is stunning! The game art and sound are beautiful. The game feels polished. It was smart adding the speed boost every replay. I like it and please keep making games! :rocket:

Overall i really like the idea of being stuck in a timeloop but i felt it could have been executed better mainly with how the coffee was implemented i feel the experience would have been better if instead of using the coffee instantly upon interaction that you instead store it and can use it with a key press whenever you want i think that if that was done instead that it would give the player some more leeway and also add a simple layer of resource managment to it. But overal i still enjoyed my time with this game and i cant wait to see what your team will create next jam ^_^

Nice idea. 10 seconds was a bit short though, not enough time to properly see what anything actually was.
It could have done with more permanent shortcuts near the start, the first 100 or so cycles did get a bit tedious.

The progression was nice though and it did get more interesting later on. I think the issue is that there are a ton of cycles where its not possible to make any visible progress at all until you start to move fast enough.

Sometimes the 'picked up coffee' sound would play but the game still resets which was frustrating. The sound suggesting I did actually just make it in time.

The game crashed when I beat the final boss. 'RuntimeError: index out of bounds'

The idea is quite interesting. However.. Performing the same actions over and over again is a bit boring. Can I suggest an alternative? The presence of full-fledged checkpoints or events to dilute the routine.
.
Graphics, sound and everything else - works for the game and the idea. Excellent synergy! I want to see a more refined game. You guys are great!

Pretty much the same issues as @someone, it really started clicking after some cycles and beating the boss crashes the game. Otherwise what a fun game to play! I gave you a lot of high ratings because I truly loved the experience, well played!

pretty challenging, but having to find optimal runs is a nice experience! Graphics are nice and polished too, which is nice to see. Great job!

Pretty challenging!! Got a memory out of bounds issue in the end though. Overall it's a very enjoyable experience to play it and find the shortest way to achieve each goal!
