Cool idea! I think this is a really good use of the theme.

Liked it. Fun and interesting mechanic. I missed some sound effects.

Very nice looking and fun mechanics, but the timing of the sword attack happening right when the incense timer ends took some of the enjoyment out of it for me. Still very well done though!

Nice looking. Music is repetitive, but it works out well.

Nitpick : Would it be possible to also have arrows to navigate instead of wasd ?
(I'm not on a QWERTY keyboard. I can change the keymapping, but arrows would be way better )

I like hot the enemies start to run away before we unleash THE POWER OF THE 10 SECOND BLADE. It would be nice that it would have wider hitbox, because right now it is hard to smash big group of enemies. And it would be so satisfying.

Really nice game! I love how the enemies disperse right before your attack and then regroup, resulting in an encircling tactic. I feel it could benefit of an even faster rhythm. Love the music!

Had fun with this game. I do wish the sword attack had a larger hitbox, if only to get more satisfaction from mowing mobs down, but that's more of a personal ask. The movement of the enemies is balanced almost perfectly to give you just enough space and time to survive for longer periods. Min maxing enemy placement to get the most in one slash was quite entertaining.

10 seconds seems like an eternity in this game! Hahaha, well done!

Super fun little game - wish it had a little bit more feedback / juice because it's hard to tell when you get hit and the kills / points gathering could be more satisfying but I'm nitpicking. It's super clean work and really hits the theme well while also having a cool atmosphere to it. Nice work

omg this is really good! It feels great to develop a strategy to hit them in a line ... but them they escape in the last milisecond lol

It's very funny how the enemy runs away when they know things are about to get bad for them, I wanted to bad to get a whole row at once, but they're smart about it. Love the graphics!

Simple, but fun - love the premise, and hitting a bunch of enemies in a row is extremely satisfying.

Great submission for a solo offering - nicely done!

Cool game! I think this would benefit a lot from the enemies having attack animations, and maybe even a short delay before they attack you once they are in range

Very straight forward no nonsense. I like the mechanics. How you made the ai aware of an imminent attack works very well. Also bleeding limbs, gotta have plus points for the gore factor ::D
Well executed

I really enjoyed this! Nice sounds and art, and great gameplay. I liked the 2 modes too. I saw another game with a similar concept, but it spawned enemies every 10 sec (not when you picked up powerups). I like that a bit better, as it encourages you to play fast. Nice job putting this together in 48 hours.

Well done game with a cool concept. Easy controls and easy to understand. Could use some more sound effects. Fits the theme perfectly.

simple and responsive, which are good qualities! the art is nice, the drums music too, really good take! (and the enemies fleeing when you have your power is a great idea)
great job!

interesting consept I really like the gameplay loop of thois game, the gore and blood gives you a sense of feedback while the collectables give you a sense of direction so that you're not just running arround aimlessly waiting for the attack to recharge, I think you did pretty well on the gameplay side, one thing I would change is how enemies immediately circle you after you attack, it happens so fast and made me end up loosing health almost everytime I attack, wish there was some kind of cooldown, maybe 1 second of cooldown for the enemies so that you can run away... anyway I think the gameplay is quite satisfying, also this is the only game I've seen that offers easy and hard mode, we should do that more with our games. good work!

A really good game. I like the idea for the theme. Would have loved a few sound effects. In my opinion there should be some abilities which can be used while waiting for the combo to build up. Other than that, I really enjoyed my time!

Nice game. It could have been a bit more satisfying with clumped enemies. I liked managing the timers for the budda and my attack.

I love the little spurting limbs all over the floor. Genius. Alternating between fleeing and trying to line up the perfect attack is an interesting concept, and a good take on the theme!

Loved the effects, fun game. Just misses some cool sound effects when you slash through enemies!
