BAS: The Early Days by Code Ripple
They year is 1962. A missile submarine around Cuba launched a nuclear warhead towards the continental United States. The US soon retaliated by launching a nuclear weapon on a Russian city. This sparked the Third Great War.
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones" -Albert Einstein 1940.
HOW TO PLAY: In the top left corner, the UI will display ▶ if you can currently launch a nuclear missile. If it displays ◊, you must wait 10 seconds (5 seconds if your population is below 33 million) to launch another nuke. Your population is on the bottom side.
You win if you make the opponents population go down by 50%. However, if your population goes down below 26 million, you will lose.#
You use a nuclear weapon by clicking first on a city of yours to launch from (BLUE) and then clicking on an enemy city (RED). Below each city is written its population.

1. The clicking is not weighty, it is hard to know if you clicked or you didn't, this wastes your time and leads to your defeat.
2. The mechanic of pop is not fully explained. Every city hit by nukes loses some percentage of its pop? Unfortuanetly this leaves the game with no mathematical depth, it is always best to target the city of with the heighst pop. To fix this, perhaps damage should scale with the pop of the city from which it comes (maybe it is already the case, I'm not sure), or maybe cities should have attributes like "fortified, spread out, etc..." which will add some depth into the choice of whom to nuke.
Overall though I really did enjoyed the premise, and the idea of the game is very cool!
