I thought this game would be impossible at first since you shoot once every 10 seconds, but it becomes quite fun and challenging once you get that first upgrade. I lasted almost 10 minutes with over 400 kills. I really liked it, and the graphics and sound are nice. Great job!

Very cool! Despite the similarities, def a different feel than VS due to the countdown and direction targeting. Gives that same "one more run..." effect though! Good pixel art and sound too!

Fun! I liked getting a bunch of enemies to chase me and then blowing them all up

I like the art style a lot and the spells are really cool especially the magic aura which looks crazy. Also nice getting to upgrade a spell or gain a new spell every level.

Fun game. The magic aura is ridiculous, just a big explosion. Overall feels good. Enemies move at a good speed, not too fast. Similar to vampire survivors feel.

Fun little "vampire survivor" like game - just with a 10 seconds total cooldown.

Quite nice take on the Vampire Survivor genre. Challenging at first, but unlocking new powerups felt really good and powerful later on :)

What a cool game. Nice graphics and great map design with the different areas and items in the buildings. Overall fun game at first I was pressing buttons to do something against those goblins but then I saw the timer and got the theme LOL

Very cool idea for the game! at the beginning the upgrade system disrupts the nice flow of the game a little bit too jarringly for my taste. But it's always a nicce feeling obliterating a giant group of goblins at once!

Really cool, you feel damn powerful when the fireball crosses lots of enemies. I think it would be nice if the camera pointed where you are aiming, right now feels kind of slow and you have less time to notice enemies in the direction you are moving, especially late in the game.

I like the use of the theme, it's a neat way of applying it - though I think perhaps 10 seconds might be a little long, it gives the game quite a slow pace at the beginning. Overall though, I think with a few more upgrades thrown in for variety it could make quite a fun little time waster. The graphics work really well too, feels nice and cohesive.

One little bug you might want to investigate though, the enemies sometimes seem to get stuck walking around the edges of the map?

Such a good game, this is the probably only game I will give 5 stars to all options. I had so much fun playing the game, and after a few rounds i got stuck in a pond with the speed powerup and agility but i decided to stay there and grind levels until I was using the spell every frame, I was essentially a sphere of mana shooting lasers of massive massive fireballs that were so fast they formed a line (same with the shadow orbs).

Anyways this game was extremely fun and it was also fun to break completely lol!

This has potential! The core game loop is very evident and easy to understand, and I quickly manage to formulate plans of weaving through goblins and tearing apart armies with my spells :D Once this game is armed with more intriguing abilities to upgrade and enemy types to look out for, it'll keep players hooked for hours or more~

The only criticism I have is that the magic aura obscures the health and cooldown bars. Good game overall!

great game, had fun playing it.. some effects were too much a bit that I couldn't see where I'm going - that aura effect

Reminds me of the feeling I got playing vampire survivors. There's a urge to keep playing. This game specifically made me lament the lack of a search function on LDjam because I wanted another run after I'd closed out and couldn't find it easily! That said, my game broke at level 20 when I picked enough agility that I could phase through any tile and I could sit on the edge of the map and let my periodic magic aura wipe 50 goblins every ten seconds. They started piling up really dense and the game became a slideshow. Pity, I wanted to keep gaining power!

I am in love with this game. Its easy to pick up, fun, fast paced, and the sound, art, and gameplay link up really well. I think it would be cool to see your stats (fireball size, damage, move speed, cast speed, etc) either throughout the game or as an endgame summary page. A joy to play. Thank you for making this game!

Nice pixel work! Small animation might make the sprites even better, but anyway impressive minimalistic style, like for it!
