Cool concept! I like the idea of a music battle RPG. Really loving the art, especially the colored highlights of each of the instruments against the stark silhouettes of the characters.

The gameplay itself unfortunately leaves quite a bit to be desired. Seems like there's not a lot of strategy or depth, and it boils down to just
1. Make a shield of the right color
2. Spam the attack sequences as fast as possible in order

There also seems to be only 1 enemy, which was very easy to beat once I got the basic understanding of matching attack color to shield color.

All in all, seems like a great concept and foundation for a much deeper game, but lacking quite a lot of content!

Amazing. Love the vibe (art and music), and such an elegant concept. Light on content, but that is very understandable for a 72 hour jam ... the important thing is that the core elements are there to build on (and incredibly polished). So impressed! Well done!

Fantastic game. Consistent graphics overall between UI/menus/characters/effects. Enjoyed the gameplay loop of scanning for the correct defense, and attacking otherwise. Fingers can really get confused! Good use of the LD51 theme. Well done

Absolutely fantastic little game! The music design was fantastic, and I was sucked into it the second I saw that glorious splash screen. Love this concept and would like to see more levels!

the visuals and art are so good, great job. I couldn't tell when the enemy was going to attack or not, maybe some sort of initiative/turn-based system would work.

feels very polished

Short but ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS. I love the entire concept of the game, from the gameplay to its aesthetic. I would love to see this expanded into a full experience!

Short, sweet, and super intuitive! I think one thing I would have liked would have been to press maybe random keys per cycles, or maybe from a small list. Almost as if you were playing different chords. Very cool theme all together. Loved it!

A fun and interesting concept. Absolutely great for a jam game, but I think it might also deserve an after-jam life, with more polish and all the blahblah. With a stronger feedback and some more rhythm-based mechanics it could be a fantastic full game, especially if you keep working with such great music.

WOW!!!

This could be making something really big!

I imagine various enemies, lands and stories.

Think about it! It will be worth a lot!

Congratulations on the idea!

This has such a great vibe to it, well done! The mechanic works well for a jam game. It was pretty short, but enjoyable while it lasted.

I would be lying if I said I didn't smile the entire time I was playing this! Reminds me of Sonic Undergrounds :metal: Love the unique twist to the theme, music, and art! One feedback is the element type UI confused me a bit, but when I understood there were elements to the wizards attack, it all made sense  A really great entry!

Cool little game. There is some initial idea in your game and it's cool. Especially the UI is well thought out, although it was possible to come up with an a little better, but this is already a quibble. It was fun to try your game).

I really like the idea! The amount of actions felt a bit low for the length of the battle, but it was certainly frantic enough with just those. I sometimes found myself accidentally skipping the right element and having to mash out some face-melting solos to get up the right shield. I really liked the revive button combo, I think more combos of that length would've been nice. Maybe as like, super attacks.

Very funny little game. I had a great time playing and it got me smiling all the time.
Some thoughts:
- The art is amazing, congrats for the awesome introduction
- It's hard to understand how the shields work

Wow, this is the best game I tested for this jam at this point, the introduction cinematic make a lot, and the gameplay is so satifying to learn and master!
