Great game with plenty of polish. I liked the death counter and the dash. I didn't quite understand if I would die after 10 seconds or if it was mostly figuratively speaking 10 second levels. Good job!

I like it. It is a bit annoying that the jump button is also the talk button. Sometimes I want to jump, and a conversation starts, but the vibe here is amazing, the graphics and the music work really well together, and it is a fun challenging platformer. Good job.

@gettingrekt @she-wrote Thanks for your comments. The level of polish, as well as some of the quirks like jump also being talk are part of the game engine I used. It's a nice little platform builder, but you sacrifice a lot of ability to customize things.

Nice game - I mostly have the same comments already posted - the placement of the sign on the last level is almost right where you want to jump from, so I ended up talking to the sign instead of jumping a lot. The last level is a huge step up in difficulty too.
Would've been good to have a level in there where you needed the dash for a specific part or parts, I think I got through all of the levels without needing it. Cool stuff!

@budda Thanks for the comments and rating. I just uploaded a new version of the game that shifts around a few sign posts and finish flags to improve the experience and remove a few of the frustrating moments when you just want to jump.

Wow, great idea for this game. I really like a game mechanic about walls. Also, I remember Mario, so this is cool !

Pretty cool like meat boy or whatever that game was called. I really liked it when the rockets came in. Being able to lower the music in the game would be nice

Really fun game! That last level was tough but I finally got it!

I really like the game, especially the wall jump mechanic. The only wish I have is to be able to find the game controls in the game.

Fun little game, bit tricky to nail the wall jump mechanic though.

Fun little game, I didn't notice the signs until the last level, so I had to play through it again to read them all :D

It's cute, and I like the design, but I did not like the controls. Having to press C and X for dash and jump were just uncomfortable. Having an option for space for jump and shift for dash would have been nice. Cute music, and great graphics and sound.

@hneumann The game page wasn't really what I intended. I probably should have hosted it on itch.

@mikushi I don't love how the engine handles wall interactions. It's very sticky.

@ogelgames Yeah, the signs were pretty much how I tied the theme in with a platformer. Eventually I started adding visual elements as well, but I tried to go for some humour / dialogue.

@lelulagames I agree with you. I wouldn't pick these options, but the platformer engine I used made these the defaults and there's no way to change it (it's fairly new).

Ha ha, 52 deaths. It wasn't easy. In general, a good platformer that reminds me of a super meat boy. There were problems with the background music - it disappeared intermittently. In sections where the character could cling to walls, this often happened at the wrong time. Good job.

Nice game! It's a bit problematic that the jump key is the same as the interaction key tho

Fun and challenging little platformer. I liked the new elements you introduced each level.

Fun game! :) Sadly I didn't understand how the 10 seconds theme was integrated into the game :/

Fun, made it to the end. Art and music choices are nice. The combination of relaxing music and hair pulling gameplay is always funny. Nice compact well balanced levels. If i'm being critical using third party art, music and third party engine that just does this genre feels maybe a bit low effort.. although saying that it makes me feel tempted to do the same in another jam to focus on game design and not spend the whole time trying to make art. Anyway I had fun so thanks for putting it up. Nice

one of the best games of LD51, just awesome, 5 stars

@automatonvx You make some good points. I wanted to just have some fun and build an entertaining platformer and spend less time on the resources. I made a few edits to the graphics, but not many.

@kesha Thanks, I appreciate it, although I'm too humble and realistic to think it's one of the best. I'm happy to be in the top 20%, though.
