"Every 10 seconds someone falls in love on Love Finder"

In todays fast paced world, there just insn't enough time to think about the traits we like or dislike in other people. Sometimes we surprise ourselves with what we like and the first impression isn't everything. We should give people a second chance. It is not easy, but you can find your soulmate! You had no match? Maybe you are too picky and should make some compromises to find real love.

Edit: Lizzy mistyped and entered the age of her dog as her own. Her real age is 24.

How to play

Every 10 seconds you can decide if you like/dislike a person. No need to hurry, just relax and like only people those traits you don't hate. Sometimes traits are only visible in the pictures. If you don't decide or dislike, the profile will be presented again at some point.

You can change the volume of the game by pressing the volume buttons on the right side of the phone.

As promised it's very relaxing. The art is fantastic, the background is very comforting, and the profiles are quite amusing.

That was fun. And it got me thinking you could get really nuanced with the likes/dislikes. Having to weed out the exact combos of dislikes vs likes. It looks great, props to the artist. Would have liked to have a progress bar for the 10 seconds as I kept clicking during a changeover causing confusion over who I'd clicked on. But really the biggest complaint I have is that I couldn't pet the cat!!!! I mean come on, let me pet the cat. Never the less 'tis a great entry.

@oddballdave Thanks for your feedback! We display the ten seconds on the clock on the left. The minute hand stands for the ten seconds and the hour hand has no meaning.
We definitely should have made an interaction with the cat. Shame on us.

Ah, sorry I totally missed that. But I feel it would have been better to have something closer to the players eye line as they quickly scan the text.

Tha artwork and the writing is absolutely adorable. The music sets the mood perfectly. Not sure this could be called a game, but it doesn't matter. It is funny and sad at the same time and I guess reflects online dating quite well, where everyone gets around 10 seconds attention.

@shaukaula Thank you. It was our goal to make the game as relaxing as possible because the theme asks for hectic games.

@coolgunxdd We got many requests to make the cat interactable. Or maybe add a purring sound. But all after release. Maybe i add a "the cat is my big love"-version if i find the time ;)

@magnus-lindh Thank you. It is an experience ;) The game has a goal and one can lose, so i'd call it a game ;)

Nice game with fun and realxing vibes. The generated list was fun to work with and the whacky charachters were fun to read about. The text was funny too. Solid entry, gj!

I knew I'd love that game when I saw that background. Lofi cat with rain on windows : hell yeah !
So it's a bit hard to find someone for your taste and I had to give up after a while. But the experience is neat and well complemented by the graphics and the audio.

The vibe was there, the humor was there! I dont like waiting for the timer to finish after liking, also the like buttons sometimes blocked me from reading the text. Apart from that, nice work!

really like the vibe! The pacing feels like a chill game with lots of eye candies all over the screen, the cat especially. Amazing art and UI design. Don't want to wait for the page to refresh. great job!

Nice little game. It's tricky sometimes to gauge whether someone meets your requirements (I got "animalistic" as a requirement once and had no idea what that meant). Very relaxing, and some of the profiles you get are very amusing as well.
