I really like the audio, it matches the art well. I also really love the choice to go with and all-keyboard input system, it feels quick and snappy.

Very comfortable little game.

Lovely and charming game! The nostalgic art and sound take me back. The tutorial made me a little nervous it would be complex, but the game turned out simple and fun to play. I think instead of day counter that counts up, it would be nice to have a counter that counts down to the final day.

Love the concept. I did find the pacing was a bit frustrating. Plants grew in the amount of time it took to water, so I basically had to plant everything, then water them one at a time, only for them to be all grown.

There wasn't a lot of agency beyond pest-control.

Balance is always tricky with jam games, of course.

It also wasn't clear what the season/day/night cycle was doing (I did skim the tutorial though)

Also, the tutorial says "can you get 50 before the season ends" which I did, and then nothing happened. I assumed there was a win conditon :sob:

I really dig the audio and the small but expressive animations!
I reached the end with 56 eggplants and had fun!

Some feedback, first I started the game without seeing the tutorial, I think that should be mandatory in a jam game.
Also if you have time add controls to your itch.io page!

Ended with a score of 84 after a couple runs. Good controls, nice and snappy, and good animations.

Very fun! I ended with about 88 I think. Very simple gameplay but it feels great! The balancing between planting, watering and pest control was very nicely done and it was nice how the intensity picked up over time. It didn't feel like there was much if any waiting around which kept things flowing nicely too.

The gameplay and art style compliment each other well too. Very nicely done!

Nice retro audio and art style, and an interesting approach to simplifying the farming game. I didn't watch the tutorial and it wasn't all that necessary as I think the game itself made it clear what you had to do. The only thing I didn't work out was the noise maker. I kept wondering what it was for ages and then whoa! a creature! I would have liked a bit more of a challenge or development but a nice bit of work all in all.

I wish real gardening was this easy...
Got into a good rhythm and was able to harvest almost 70 eggplants!

Really nice game! Art style and game mechanics are cool, the only thing missing is some music. I'm quite happy with my 63 eggplants :) Good job with the game!

Enjoyable game with a great visual aesthetic. The pacing was a little too fast. Felt like there was not much in terms of interesting decisions. I kept just following the same sequence, and did not see any benefits to changing it up.

Really nice game! I liked the idea of using 10 seconds for day & night cycle. The graphics (and especially the animations) were quite good too. I felt like fetching the equipment from the edges of the screen instead of being able to choose which item to use was a bit annoying, but it was also the main challenge of the game. Other than that, good entry!

That's a nice entry! Maybe having to complete different subquest (grab X eggplant, scare X animals) and random events (heavy wind, you have to fix your plants) could keep the game interesting on the long run. Good work!

Really fun game! The game is quite easy to get a grasp of, and the simple controls complement the gameplay nicely. The sound effects are simple but effective. Great work!

Solid game, would need some more balancing and some additional balancing to make it great but good for a jam game! Love the graphics, and the gardening mechanics.

I'm so glad I played this one! "Veggies with little faces" is my favorite genre. I thought the art was perfect -- it got everything across simply and cleanly, and the colors were well chosen. Great job for having everything look good and cohesive during both day and night. The animations, especially the turnip and the deer, were delightful. Gameplay was smooth and fun, and I enjoyed playing it. I think the tutorial was actually longer than it needed to be; I would have been fine with "WASD to move, Z to interact," since the rest was easy to trial-and-error. Overall, really excellent job!

Very nice and clean! Like the simple graphics and colour palette, game allows you to find you own ways of organizing due to it's open ended gameplay. Nice, keep it up!

Nice game, I got 50 eggplants on day 13. Art is pretty and sound effects are fitting. Gameplay is nice too, sometimes I accidentally replaced my tool when I tried to catch the bugs or deer, so there could be a very short cooldown for swapping tools. It's nice and has potential, overall it's been very fun.

Solid compo work, the pixel art is cute and I liked the noisemaker sound in particular.
