We have found an opening in the enemy defenses! Quick, get on the tank, and let us liberate the lands of these vile occupiers!
How To Play
Aim with the mouse, LEFT CLICK to fire the weapon.
Use A & D or LEFT & RIGHT keys to move left and right.
Use SPACEBAR to interact with supply drops and the weapons.
Press E when mounting a weapon to enable special ammo when available.
You can climb on the tank by walking to the ladder and pressing SPACEBAR.
You can get off the tank by walking off on either side. The tank will slow down when you are not on it.
The autocannon can be accessed in the middle of the tank and the mortar in the front of the tank.
The mortar can be used to blow up obstacles.

I feel like the balance was spot on, I managed to beat the game & raise the flag even though I am a bit tired after the jam.

I like the concept but it's too hard to control combining mouse and so many keys in keyboard.
The radio voice at the start also tells you that you get supply drops every 10 seconds, in case it wasn't otherwise clear :) Hope that makes sense!
PS: this is why the game is called "Supply & Command" as it covers the 2 main aspects of the game.
The mortar idea was interesting.
Maybe managing a team operating the tank would be really cool!
Overall the game is well done!
As a Cortex Command long time player, I obviously liked the graphics and the animations. I found music a bit repetitive but it still made a good job accompaning the scene - on the other hand, voice acting and sound effect were simply spot on.
Maybe a bit easy, but if this ever becomes a full game what I've played so far would make for an excellent first level. Thanks for sharing your game, and good luck with the jam!
(Activating special ammo with E and getting on/off with space felt a bit confusing though, feels like it should be the other way around.)
All around an enjoyable game, great job!
Great controls and feeling of operating a powerful tank!
Good job overal!
Kept panicking that the tank traps were damaging me, but then got a lot calmer as I realised they just stopped the loop temporarily for a breather.
Excellent work :muscle:
2D call of duty, I like it!
That said, cool idea, and well put together! The audio is amazing, the visuals are very nice and satisfying, and the controls, despite the chaos, are intuitive and responsive enough. Well done!

So, one thing that's interesting is that it really is reasonably easy to pickup any supply drop, as getting off the tank makes it slow down. So, often, if there was a repair kit incoming that I needed, I would just get off the tank, as there were no enemies in sight, and that would make it very easy to grab the repair kit.
However, when trying to pickup resource kits when enemies were nearby, the design of the tank made this a real risk. In particular, the ladder is all the way on the back of the tank--so although it is very fast to walk off the right side and pickup a resource on the right, it is actually difficult to get back onto the tank and start using a weapon. I can't just walk left again to get back to the autocannon, but I have to go around.
The variation in the two weapons is also a lot of fun. The autocannon was the most generally useful, I found, because it was both precise and fast to reload. The use of the barricades to force switching weapons was nice, however, and it also leads to the question of whether it's better to try to kill all the enemies and the barricade with one mortar shot, or if it's better to snipe all the enemies and then destroy the barricade (which is what I ended up doing).
I ended up not using the special shots very much as I had sort of forgotten what the control was. As such, I do think the game could be beaten pretty easily without ever collecting any of the special ammo. I do think the special ammo is a nice addition, as it gives another possible strategy... for example, maybe I would end up needing few repairs had I used the special ammo more often.
So overall, great game. All the mechanics fit together pretty well, and it was fun to play through it. And, I love the voice acting as well. It's a nice touch.
