Survive 3 min (overcome the 18 stages) in this challenging shooter.

Every 10 sec, the level gets a new layout and upgrades.

Be in the upgrade areas to get the upgrade after 10sec. (red: life, blue: damage, green: fire rate, yellow: additional bullets)

NB: the sounds on the webGL build is a off by a 1sec which makes the music not in sync, the problem is not present in the Windows build.

This is so cool! Exactly the kind of game I want to play in my browser. Reminded me a bit of "The Textorcist". Fun and challenging, with great graphics and music and a spooky aesthetic. A+.

That's a great little game! Reminiscent of Enter the Gungeon. The morphing level is cool and the warnings like so! Wish the time I survived showed on the end screen, for high score purposes.

This is fun, but it sure is hard. Usually the levels ended up being too tight to circle about near a pickup, so I didn't have much choice in the matter. Great pixel art, I love the main menu screen with the viscous looking blood.

OK. What do we have here? Another twin-stick. Survive three mins. Perfect, game played and rated in three just mins. Snap to 40 hours later. DIE you evil hellhound. Well, kind of. I am normally not a fan of this kind of games but you have hit some kind of magical spot. I just want to survive for three mins. How impossible can it be?

Really well made! The music is fantastic. Immediately thought of Doom :D The art is gorgeous. I'm really impressed with how much you managed to make. Gameplay wise I think this suffers from the usual "weak pistol" problem that doesn't feel very fun. If you haven't already you must watch the Vlambeer talk on screenshake!
The mechanic of waiting on the upgrade area was actually quite cool and it's a great way of adding a tactical element.

Very fun! I really liked it. Having to pick an upgrade by standing in it once the timer hits is excellent, really adds some challenge with all the enemies surrounding you.

Badass game! Great work for 48 hours, and the idea of having to stand in the powerup vicinity the moment the next 10 sec rotation comes around is genius. The music beats per minute sync as well was the icing on the cake. The difficulty is punishing, but fun.

I love it, the first sounds spooked me a ton which made a whole experience even better! Game was so much fun, it was a joy to try again and again and I would love to see a full game out of it, cause the art style, sounds and gameplay are so enjoyable!

Damn this was really hard, and super impressed this is a compo as well because its so polished! I really especially like the upgrade / pickup system and how you have to risk death to choose to stand on a certain upgrade. Very cool

Very well made. The art style is on point! You added lots of cool quality of life things (like the warnings before spikes). I think the only thing that wasn't super obvious is when you enter the "zones", maybe brighten their color a bit and perhaps a contextual count down timer on the zones would help somewhat? Bullet impact didn't feel quite right need either a tiny amount of screen shake or something like that maybe. Also on retry it'd be nice if the timer was like 1 second or something so get back into the game more quickly.

This is a pretty fun little game. I found the idea of the stage changing every 10 seconds to be a very good use of the theme.

What a neat game! I didn't totally get what was going on with the "zones", I assumed I got a bonus while I was standing in them but that wasn't clear. Regardless, I love a game with "zones" haha.

The music set a nice tone in the main menu but became something of a bother midgame. I wish I was better at these bullet hell kinds of games because I would have liked to see more of the mechanics. but I died at the demon fairy/succubus character and didn't care to try again.

The graphics were great and honestly the whole game seemed SUPER polished, even if it wasn't my cup of tea. Gotta recognize good when ya see it !

Very interesting game! The graphics are nice, and the gameplay is good! I wasn't able to advance many levels, but I really enjoyed it. The apparent randomness in the map was lovely. Good job!

Really fun game with what felt like original mechanics, was really hard to balance clearing the mobs whilst also making sure I was in the upgrade squares. Althought it took me a minute to figure out I could dash through walls. Really good submission with great mood, visuals and audio.

Hey there! I liked the concept of having a dedicated zone you needed to be standing in at the phase change. I thought this was a good twist for the theme. Graphically I thought you did a good job with the indicators before the level switched. I appreciated the varied enemy designs, too. I would have liked a bit more feedback in-game telling me what happened when I got weapon / time upgrades (faster shooting weapon by 10%? more damage by 10%? Did I stand in correctly or not?). I also would have really enjoyed weapon swapping, even if they just varied in the size, speed and fire rate of the bullets. Sounds were good in-game, though the music got a bit repetitive.

Overall, I had fun. I gave it 5 or so tries and got about half way in.

Really nice mechanics. I wasn't really ready for the difficulty, and after several tries couldn't get past phase 10. I wish the enemies had some indication of health. I really liked the varying game boards, felt very good.

great game. however, when i just dead, if i don't click the "retry" button, the game will still be running, and i just miraculously pass all the level, and you just show me the "you made it". I'm not quite sure it's a bug or?? But, wonderful game, love it.

Amazing compo entry! Still can't believe you pulled this all off alone in 48 hours x) the sprites are clean and I like how chonky the little demon guys are. The gun blends in with the background a bit but I didn't have trouble seeing it during gameplay. The game is hard but I think the levels are well designed. Awesome work~! Looking forward to seeing more of your entries in the future :)
