Thank you again! Glad you enjoyed it!
had a bug (or is it not one ?) where I replayed the same 2 games countless time in endless mode (dance and seagull)
would love to play a updated version whith more games in it !!!
@clockmaker Thanks very much for the feedback there. There is a chance you're a statistical anomaly and you just happened to generate those two games constantly, but I'll be sure to investigate what's happening there. The system at the moment picks a random game from the full set, but ensures it'll never play the same game twice. I may have to think about setting a "queue" of sorts where it won't play the same game for another 3 or so ticks
The music and animations were jaw-droppingly good - and every scene was filled with energy and charm. I can't believe there are 2d and 3d games mixed together here - this must have been a true feat of programming.
Some of the games were a little rough on my carpal tunnel - but overall, they were enjoyable, hilarious, and inspired. I did NOT expect an operation soda stream reference in a jam game - had me laughing out loud!
Also, the character designs are absolutely charming - I love Grog and know he will look so fetching in those glasses (monocle?)
Even the menu screen was an incredibly polished and drool-educing feast of sights and sounds.
Good job team! You have outdone yourselves!
Genuinely impressed that you managed to create this in 3 days. The Music is perfect and the artstyle is expertly crafted. Great stuff guys!
Only critique I have is that audio was a bit harsh at times. I think all the sounds were good, just different mixing levels might have helped. Mostly the TV static noise was quite loud. Nice job all around!
The only game I couldn't figure out was the grandma one. And skimming @100th-coin 's video, perhaps he didn't either, so I could use some pointers :)
My favorite game was getting the pastry back. It wasn't terribly hard, but I enjoyed the camera movement and well, the satisfaction of getting my food back!
As I've said before, fielding such a large team is seriously impressive. And the fact that lots of the same people are sticking around is another testament to that. Well done on such an ambitious game.
@peachtreeoath Surprised to see people having trouble with the grandma one since it actually gives more progression feedback than The Beast or the seagull haha; the idea is to give her CPR, so you just press space as soon as you land. The heartbeat monitor shows you how much closer to life she is!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful feedback everybody, our team is finding it extremely heartwarming and we truly feel like this is our best jam project yet
1. I was mostly looking at 3 things, the hamster, the grandma's face, and the score. None of those were really changing, and that also meant I wasn't looking at the monitor gradually changing
2. After seeing no feedback when timing spacebar, I thought maybe you need to LAND on the heartbeat. So I would keep switching between the 2 hoping to see changes on the grandma's face to no avail.
Hope that breakdown gives some insight!
And woah, you made a whole 3d menu? A lot of mini-games? Some top-notch-stupid-but-fun-and-coherent-art? An efficient music? Some smooth transition between the different games and menus? A glitch-less game (at least everything worked fine on my computer)? Some good jokes and puns? Everything with a flawless control scheme? Coordinate a team of THIRTEEN PEOPLE????
You guys are a wonderful team, don't change anything.
Love all these mini games, great job!
It reminded me of Miniclip flash games Which we used to play.
knowing game controls by experimenting is the unique thing for me.
Great Job!
Please have a look at our game.
Very good job guys!
