On Friday, 1st of April, our Physical Ranged DPS got a notification on discord: \u201cLudum Dare 50 Begins in 5 minutes!\u201d The abrupt news totally caught us off guard\u2026\n\nDuring the development of the game, we struggled to focus on the jam. We had such a hard time holding back the impulse of launching FF14 online and running a raid together.\n\n\u201cLet\u2019s do our dailies. Come on, it will only be an hour.\u201d\n\n\u201cRaid?\u201d\n\n\u201cRaid, maybe?\u201d\n\nWe finally got to the point of naming our game, but our \u2018guru of naming stuff\u2019 was asleep (the Ranged Physical DPS), the rest of us decided to name our jam entry: \u201cwHat would a game made by warriors Of light look like when they desPerately want to play FFXIV Endwalker \u201d. BECAUSE WE WANT TO RAID!!!\n\nWe incorporated one of the areas in FF14 online, \u201cUltima Thule\u201d in our game concept. The lonely and wandering astronaut traverses the universe of chessboard while dodging asteroids and blackholes with abilities he learned throughout the journey.
