Lockdown by Squerf

[raw]
made by Squerf for Ludum Dare 50 (JAM)

The city is in lockdown, only 12 people remain. How long can you survive the ZOMBIE TERROR?!

Controls: Keys: cursor keys, z/x/c Gamepad: dpad/left-stick, A/B

I only realised it was LD50 with a few hours to go

Pretty neat for a game made with a few hours to spare :D

Nice small and charming game. Graphics are simple but they fit. Controls with arrow keys is a bit weird but it adds to the difficulty and the style of the game.

Great game I like the idea. After a while there is to much bodies on the ground and became not pleasant to look at anymore.

A pretty simple but enjoyable game, I lasted 03:11 mins, good job for it being made in such a short time! :)

Nice pixel graphics and sound effects, but it's rather hard to see what is going on, especially as the game progresses.

Fun but very stressful, controlling loads of gunman at once is a pretty fun and interesting idea!

A very nice looking game, fits the theme very well and quickly gets frantic so the pacing is well done. Wasn't a fan of the sound effects, but considering the time frame it works well. Really do like how it all looks, gives it a great mood.

really like the idea of the player controlling multiple people and them kind of being the hp mechanic of the game. sounds where a bit loud but other than that really nice work!

Nice concept, funny how readability decrease the more zombies you kill, adding to the difficulty. Good job!

Really enjoyed the built in difficulty curve with the background becoming cluttered with zombie gore. The core mechanic is also unique, infuriating, and enlightened all at once. It reminds me of an old Dos game I would have played as a kid. Although it seems to be a divisive point, I liked the sound effects and though they fit the overall feel of the game. Overall, great job!

Really cool I game, I got surprised the first time I shoot, it was a verry cool moment.
But I surestimate myself to do multitarget shot
Maybe it's a little difficult to use keyboard controls (I want this game on phone  )

A simple a idea and well executed. What I don't like is that my people, the zombies and the bodies cannot be differentiated visually. After a while everything just becomes one giant color blob.

Yay for PICO-8!

Man this game gave me flashbacks to playing the Atari 2600, good simple fun. Well done.
