Great graphics & Sounds & Aesthetics. Very pretty to look at.

A bit tricky for a platformer noob like me, first wall is very high and tricky to get over, have to have the player up to full speed to jump it. The small 1 square platforms introduce a lot of falling/failing pretty early on. The Dash is pretty cool mechanic, doing jump & dash over the big wall was very tricky and when failing it I fell below the single square platforms which were still hard. After a 3 or so attempts I gave up, so I'm afraid I didn't get too far.

I imagine this game is very enjoyable for more skilled platform gamers! :)

Lovely game. The presentation and art direction is top notch. I was biffed to death by the cat monster lol, just like real life.

The controls feel REALLY good and the aesthetic and music are amazing, but I kept running into an issue where the boss would stop attacking! I'm going to avoid rating the game for now, but I was playing on Windows if that helps:

Loved the art and sound. That hairball noise had me cracking up. The platforming felt solid and I really enjoyed the movement while rolling around. I'd love to see more of this game.

Really cool concept for a tutorial section before the boss battle! Graphics were superb as well. A little hard, but I enjoyed it! :smile:

Wow, very cool. Presentation is really nice; and I really like the whole design of the cat boss. That said, this is HARD, holy moly! Maybe that was the intention, but I would love to have even a slim chance of defeating the boss.

Loved the art and feel of the game, but also ran into the bug above where the boss totally stopped attacking. I managed to "kill" it in that its health went negative and the bar started filling up in the opposite direction. :P Had a blast with it pre-bug though and would love to give it another go if it gets fixed (or at least know why it happens and how to avoid it).

First of all, cat boss > 10/10, but honestly the game was extremely fun! I love platformers and then the whole boss fight?? I'll definitely be playing again, but the art, the sound effects: they were on point!!

@decadedecaf @meep I think I've got the bug where the Cat just stops attacking fixed if you'd like to play again! :) I'm working on a big list of games to play tomorrow. I'm super excited to see what everyone else has been working on!

Really like the graphics and audio, controls feel fluid too, but wish my controller worked or could use WASD to move instead. Boss was great

Playing the web version solved it for me!

I was able to see a lot more of what the game had to offer (plus, I found the other secret) and I'm still super impressed. Very cool stuff! Glad I was able to enjoy it.

A fun idea! The graphics were really lovely, and the mouse fighting a big cat is a classic for a reason. All the different attacks were really well put together as well!

That being said, I found the controls a bit floaty and not as tight as they could have been. I felt the boss fight was a bit unfair at times, with that cat and its paws changing from being non-damaging and open to attacks to suddenly being damaging. I know you weren't really *supposed to* beat or attack the boss, but it was fun enough that I wanted to try!

This is such a pretty game! I don't generally like platformers (mostly because I'm so bad at them!), but the art, sound effects, and overall design just made me want to keep playing (despite finding the tutorial hard and the boss-fight impossible to survive for longer than 10 seconds!)

Nice idea! I liked that the tutorial part was simple and gave you just enough info so you could fight the boss. Art style is effective and pretty and cat sounds were sweet :D.
I was having trouble timing my jumps and dodges and I felt I was sliding a lot. That could also be just my poor computer or internet lagging.
Overall cool game.

This was a very cute minigame! Still wish I got that secret but I am still very happy with the playthrough! the cat boss fight was so good too, loved the text as combat!

Excellent execution! I really enjoyed the controls in the platforming section. The sounds were on point and the music hit right. I did have a lot of difficulty with the boss battle and the combat, but that might be the point. Very original and a good variation of attacks with the cat!

Wonderful job with the graphics!! Everything felt very visually polished. I wasn't awesome at the controls (being able to remap roll farther away from strike may have helped, or maybe I was hankering for a Hollow Knight controller experience), and the movement felt a little slippy for platforming ... but that didn't matter too much when fighting the boss. All its attacks were hilarious! Hairballs! Very inspired.

Nice boss fight game! I'll give this a try when I had time but I can say that the boss is well designed.

Hey! Just wanted to share that I worked with someone else who had made a similar cat/mouse themed game called "Indigo's Adventure". It looks like the art style / big cat idea might have been inspired by that game. It would be cool if you could credit the creator you got the idea from!
