Comet by EduSilva
A comet is heading to your planet, the end is inevitable, but can you at least save the world for a little bit?
You're the strong guy with a big gun and need to break the meteorites to get the core and use to charge the canons that'll shot the comet and delay the end of the world for some seconds, but look out! This comet is bringing weird alien life to your planet and they don't seem so friendly.

My only feedback is that the time delay could be more noticeable and decrease as the game progresses. As it is, it doesn't feel like you can delay the inevitable much at all.
Anyway, congrats!!
Very great work! May I ask which engine you used?
Controls are punchy and responsive.
Some in-game explanation for controls would have been a nice addition.
Also, the player character sometimes just doesn't pick up the orbs from the meteor fragments, not sure why?
All in all, great little game.
- Beautiful art style, loved the colour palette and animations
- Was surprised by how intuitive the grab mechanic worked using the same button as shoot. It always seemed to behave the way I expected - really well done.
Only issue I had was the restart cutscene - it was great the first time but would have appreciated a faster restart.
Nice work :)
I wanted to added some instructions in the beginning but as you may guess, I didn't have time for it haha
I tried several times and the best I managed to survive was 87 seconds
A small recommendation from me: clouds on the background should also move from the left to the right (for example). Otherwise, they look too static.
We had a similar concept, but yours wins on execution hands down, super slick!
also, sometimes a glowing thing pops out of the astroids, but i couldn't interact with them. what are they for?
i like the colors and character design and the movement dynamics felt solid.
