Not sure if i'm just blind but I can't find the resistance guy for the life of me. Nevertheless quite a fun game, I like the art style

The art style is very interesting. I enjoyed the gameplay and music. I would play a full game using the AI art. Good submission

I finished it!

I like the *feel* of the game, the characters are definitely compelling to look at.

EDIT: Ahh... I just visited the site for the visual. Awesome site.

Love the graphics and art style...reminiscent of Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strat. Once suggestion would be make the "voices" a less harsh sound.

Very cool. I like the visual style. Music set a good tone but was a bit repetitive after a while. The text window animating in with each new box as you talk to one person was a bit distracting. And the dialogue sound was overly harsh. The visual style and tone were my favorite parts. Well done!

Very cool game with a really good mood to it, played through twice to get both "Endings", and really enjoyed it, a sprint button could've been nice, but I know it's a Jam game

I really liked this one. Delightfully weird, interesting subject matter, very memorable. Nice job! Especially for a Jam game!

A game made with AI art? Never seen anything like that before! Loved the humor with the dialog, and how the audio set the tone for the game. Over all a great submission!

The use of Wombo to generate your art is really interesting. And then assembling everything into a papercraft style gives you this really unique look - I've never seen anything like it - and it's quite charmingly grotesque.

My first entry into the game was a little confusing because I didn't realize I had to talk to the king to get my first bounty. I think if the player started the game in conversation with the king it would have been less confusing, at least in my case.

The wise old man was great when he says you should stand up to the king, but maybe you don't know how, because that's exactly how I felt. I'm not sure if that was supposed to be so meta, but it felt that way to me.

I finished the game! I like how you can piece together some backstory from the dialogs with the characters. The player walk a bit too slow though

Wow I respect the leap of faith you took with the art direction and I think it was a great move, as the artist for my game, I was won over immediatly with the visuals the floor/roof tiles, the radiant trees. I feel like if you'd fill every inch with this technique with would be a wonder to just look at. Gameplay wise, I tethered to the nearest villager i found but never really found out where i was suppose to lead them too, i thought i'd bring them one by one to the tyrant king but I ended up getting fired. Great work on the visuals!

Definitely a unique style. The gameplay was lacking though. Fetch quests aren't exactly a lot of fun. I did like the twist at the end and the social commentary.

Nice concept, very original.
I think the art style works really well and create an unsettling atmoshpere.
The music is a bit repetitive, and the sound effect really harsh to my ears.
I also find the movement very laggy, but maybe it's my computer.
Good job overall :)

I very much enjoyed my time with this one. It felt good to play, the art style was really cool, and it was cohesive from start to finish! Would love to see more.

Man the choice of AI generating the art is really interesting! On one hand it gives an interesting surreal look, but on the other it makes it impossible to see what the characters are suppose to be.

So for instance, when told to find the drunk, the only way to do it is to talk to all the characters, as you cannot really tell from the appearance.

Very unique and interesting character designs. I like the concept, but it there could've been some another action than bringing characters before the king  I realised you can't undo that rope, once you get someone, so there could be a undo button or something, though very nice entry! Good job

I love the audio, it fits well with the strange feeling of the art and layout. As was said above an undo on grabbing people would be good, but other than that the gameplay felt good. Movement wasn't too fast nor too slow. An interesting look into a strange little world, thank you.

Good job! I like character models. 2d dudes in a 3d world! It creates a very interesting atmosphere of a real board game
thank you!

Good idea with the art style! I wish there will be more options in the plot, but not in Compo, of course :)

The music is a little repetitive but the story, the dialogues, the characters are amazing! Congrats on your entry.

Damn the book of acceptable words sounds so much like the politically correct nonsense that's plaguing the west. Nice entry, it's very interesting to see AI generated stuff!
