Not sure if I was playing it right, but I couldn't avoid being crystallised lol Nice UI design making the keys be related icon wise

@yamzho you're supposed to press space at the end, that's how you throw the potion. I wanted to see if I could teach the player the controls without adding any text. Thanks for the feedback!

@squaxcom yeah it's so that the game fits the theme, you can't stop the curse, just delay it. Thank you!

Lovely. Took me twice to actually get how to play but that's fine. Love the concept, maybe just add a different sound of each of the ingredients for an extra feedback to the player. Also make difficulty ramp up a bit faster maybe? I was at #62 and only then it felt a bit more challenging

Graphics are awesome, gameplay is a bit simple, I also think some sound effects would make it go a long way.

I agree with @holysparks, I had to let it time out on purpose to see the game over. Didn't know it got harder. Starting off with a bit higher difficulty would work better I think. Apart from that, really enjoyable and cute game.

I couldn't bear the watch the inevitable demise of my pet lizard so after 55 I had to stop, seeing him in his perfect form and that's how I'll remember it... I loved the game, I like that even if you make a mistake you can still fix it. The intro is a little confusing, but once you get it and realize it's a tutorial it's actually interesting. Graphics were cute, lizard...

The difficulty scaling is nice, it gives you breaks here and then so it's not always super long recipes. That might be too easy if it always jumps from like 7 ingredients to only 3, but I also stopped at 55 so maybe it does get more challenging. Overall it's really nice and fun!

I like this, it's cute! Very slick intro / tutorial, I like how you taught the controls before sending me into the game. I managed to make 74 potions before I failed. The difficulty felt a bit off to me personally, it took a long time to ramp up to longer recipes and it felt odd to go back and forth between long and short recipes. I think what this could really use to sell the mood is some frantic background music. Nice job!

This was quite nice, I enjoyed making the potions :smile: Good job! The only thing I missed was some music or sound feedback for ingredients or frog crystallization :sweat_smile: If you'd want to continue polishing this, then perhaps a 2-player mode could be added with splitscreen, so you could play with someone, see whose frog will survive longer :smile:

Pretty fun concept! I think it missed (or there's something that I didn't understand) some objective, or end to the game. Would have loved to see a timer or something to make it more entertaining, and maybe make me want to start over to increase my best score!

I needed a second game to properly understand what I had to do, but I want to say that the intro/tuto is an awesome idea, loved that!

The visuals are really cool, and the idea of writing the letters in the style of the icon they refer to is clear and intuitive.

I'm a bit sad that there was no music or sound effect. 2 or 3 of them could have improved the mood so much for very little effort. I would recommend to give it a try next time ;)
